Scarlett hesitates but follows him into the mansion. She’s led to a beautiful hallway which is illuminated with golden lights. A staircase spirals its way from the upper floors to the lower one while a magnificent fountain is placed in the middle of it. The walls are painted in light silver color and there are matching furniture sets around her. Scarlett has been to many mansions but this one has a warm touch to it as if the owner has intricately detailed them on his own.

I instantly turned my face to the side in repulsion. “This will be the best for us,” he muttered to himself. My brows joined in confusion. I tilted my neck back slowly to face him. But my eyes turned to the size of saucers when I gazed at the corner of his lips which twitched upward as he flashed me his signature devious smirk. “Now you won’t be able to leave me”, he spoke in a spooky tone and dug his fangs into my neck. The next moment, an ear-piercing scream was heard in the mansion as he closed the door of my last hope.
