Blessings of The Sun

Blessings of The Sun

He glanced at Sierra again, like he wanted to speak something, but realized it probably ended in fights. “… Speak already,” Sierra glared at him; she was also relaxed, with her arms crossed in front of her chest. Xion figured, while waiting the kid to wake up, it might be better if he just spoke with the woman. “So… you’re having the Sun’s blessing?” He started the conversation awkwardly. “Hm.” “There’s no records about that kind of blessing too,” Xion pondered; really, the woman beside him was just full with mysteries. “Yeah, I always good at leaving without trails,” Sierra answered.

The Sun I Followed Into the Abyss

The Sun I Followed Into the Abyss

" Moments later, flames began licking every corner of the sty. The pigs were startled and began squealing and trampling over one another in panic, trying to escape. The fire spread quickly, and I felt the painful burns on my skin. The heavy smoke was also stinging my eyes and making me choke. I wanted to run, but I was still chained up, and there was nowhere I could go. Was I finally going to die this time? But maybe it was for the best. The pig sty began to collapse, its support beams falling, and I looked at the blue sky outside the tiny window. I remembered how Victoria looked in her wedding dress.

Chasing the Sun

Chasing the Sun

Chapter 96 Xavier emerged from the water, racking his hair with fingers. The kids were swimming and playing around him in their house pool, wearing their swimming suits and tubes. He looked at the chaizy and saw Caroline sleeping with a book over her face. Her bikini clad body was shining in the early spring sun. The weather wasn't hot to say, and it was her favorite pastime these days to lay down in the sun and absorb as much Vitamin D. Her body was a shade of tan and that would always make Xavier horny. The stone on her navel was sparkling in the sun and so was her ring. He kept looking at her for a while before he stepped out of the pool.

The Dragon's Silent Shadow

The Dragon's Silent Shadow

"If we follow the river, we can get out of the city without ever seeing the sun. It will take days. It will be dark, cold, and dangerous. But it’s the only path the Emperor can't watch." "Then we swim," Saoirse said. "We walk," Tristan corrected. "There are towpaths along the canal. Or there used to be." He tried to sit up again. This time, he managed it, though he swayed dizzily. Saoirse sat up with him. She looked at his chest. The black veins had faded to gray, looking like an intricate tattoo of lightning spreading from his heart. "Does it hurt?" she asked, touching the mark. "No," Tristan said. He looked at her hand on his chest. He covered it with his own. "It feels... awake."

DEFYING FATE

DEFYING FATE

But no one seems to mind; after all, their fur protects them from the elements. A sheep in hell? You've got to be kidding me! Sheep were not hell's creatures, they were from heaven. She groaned. But there was no trace of people on this trail apart from a worn-out track that curled through the snow blanket of grass on her right. Oh, really, Sophie? Do you expect people in your nightmares? Really? What is this Stephen King novel? The cold air replenished Sophie's lungs, and they were now bursting with fresh air as she observed the orange sunset cascading down a rift of clouds into a distant blue lake. The reflection of the sunset glimmers in its beauty.

Echoes in the Ashes

Echoes in the Ashes

Zara gripped it firmly as her thoughts raced with enquiries concerning the figure and the cautions in the book. The sun was high in the sky when she eventually came out of the gulf, and the warmth of it was a wonderful change from the cold of the shadows. Her relief, however, was fleeting. A column of smoke ascended in the distance from the tower's direction. Her heart fell. Kael.

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

The indigo light in the chamber was sucked into the steel, leaving us in a world of stark, monochromatic shadows. "The deal is done," the World-Eater thrummed, its heart-beat slowing as it absorbed the fragment of my soul. "Go, Void-Queen. Meet the Grave with the hunger of the Prime." The climb back to the Sun-Spire was a silent, terrifying trek. The pack looked at me with a new kind of fear. Even Magnus, the old wolf who had seen everything, wouldn't meet my eyes. When we emerged into the white heat of the surface, I didn't shield my eyes. The sun didn't burn me anymore. To the Void-Queen, the sun was just a dim lamp.

The Lycan King’s Treasured Luna

The Lycan King’s Treasured Luna

Hasmik slid one of them open with a smooth motion, and instantly, the sunlight rushed in. The first ray hit my face. I froze. The warmth was so foreign, it almost hurt. I closed my eyes instinctively, breathing it in, feeling it soak into my skin like a long-lost lover's embrace. I had forgotten. I had forgotten how the sun felt. Hasmik helped me down onto a large, plush bean bag set near the balcony's edge. It swallowed my frail body whole, and I sank into it with a soft sigh. The world stretched out before me like an endless sea of green forests, rooftops and distant mountains, the sky was a vast, tender blue dusted with slow-moving clouds.

Sargis and Narine just became one of my favourite couples! I love Sargis' love and devotion, and Narine's wisdom and quiet strength. I wish her adoptive parents were punished as well, but oh well ... (7/29/26)

I loved this book and it's characters. I love how there was no unnecessary drama that slowed the pace and didn't make sense like in other stories. And I loved the way that we got to see some of the same scenes from both perspectives. I'd love to read a sequel.

ABANDONED BY MY EX, ACCEPTED HIS BOSS'S PROPOSAL

ABANDONED BY MY EX, ACCEPTED HIS BOSS'S PROPOSAL

Chapter 90 – The Fire Beneath The morning started like any other, quiet and serene, the sunlight filtering through the tall windows of the penthouse, casting soft, golden rays across the room. Clara had woken up early, as she often did when her thoughts were swirling, and she sat in the kitchen, sipping a cup of coffee as she skimmed through her manuscript. The book was moving forward in a way she hadn’t expected. It felt right, felt like a part of her story was finally coming together, and she couldn’t help but feel a sense of peace about her journey.
