But the guidance was always limited to Nate’s review times and didn’t include exam days. They have their homeroom Christmas Party on December 20. Nate’s Secret Santa turns out to be Babylee. They gift him a pair of brand-new Nike Air Force 1! When Nate protests about the price, Babylee reassures him that they’re only replica and not original, but they look so legit that nobody can tell otherwise. Babylee explains they’re Triple-A grade and proudly says: “Just let me know if you want more and I’ll hook you up.”

I've been ignoring him, but his persistence is becoming problematic. I deleted the message without reading it. The Christmas gala is in two days. The annual event where the city's elite gather to see and be seen, to make deals and alliances over champagne and caviar. I'll need to bring Ava, show her off as my devoted wife, maintain the illusion that everything is fine. She'll smile and play her part because she has no choice. Because I've made sure she has nowhere else to go and no one else to turn to. And I'll stand beside her, touching her waist, playing the role of perfect husband, hating myself a little more with every passing moment.

Then I turned to Colt, “Next Christmas, I want to come to the Opera too.” His eyes took on a sharp pained light as he stared at me wordlessly for several seconds, and just before the doorman bowed to us, he leaned in and whispered, “An opera house in Paris, every Saturday in the month of December.” I smiled, “Perfect. I can suffer through this with that thought in mind,” I joked as we turned to return the doorman’s greeting. Colt rolled his eyes when we walked past. “You’re not going to go on now about how the opera houses in Parieee are the real deal.” He bit sarcastically.

The smell of damp pine trees gave the air a clean, fresh feeling. A thick blanket of white snow shrouded the houses, the ground, and the trees. The telltale signs of Christmas are everywhere: twinkling lights, decorated houses, trees, a cheery atmosphere, the sporadic playing of hymns and carols, an abundance of green and red colours, flashes of silver and gold, busy ornament stores, and Santas ringing bells at every corner.

he told her, switching seamlessly to Salamis. “Thank you” “The marketplace where we are going is one of the most fun parts of the city” Tenac said. “There are traders from all over the world, as well as the local ones. You can get anything from basic food to weapons and jewellery” he continued. Mary got excited hearing about it. “There are a lot of people moving around, not all of them friendly. I need you to stay close to me and if you feel like it gets too much, we can come back another day” Tenac said and looked at her to see that she understood him.

“Mr Damon asked that you go to him alone. Are you with your card or should I get another for you?” I nodded my head, opened my purse and picked out the card. “Here. I have it.” I showed him and he smiled, got out of the car and opened my door for me. I stepped out, he bowed slightly and I went on ahead to the entrance of Classic Castle Restaurant. They had a huge sign post in front of it. And opposite it, where we drove past was Classis Castle Lounge. That was where Caleb asked me to come. I gritted my teeth as I remembered his message. He had the guts to ask me to see him and worse in the lounge?

"Just the milk is a bit hot." "Is it? Let it cool down a bit more." … As Christmas Eve approached, the small town's quiet life was filled with holiday cheer. Christmas lights decorated the streets, and trees sparkled with ornaments. The small supermarket near their home was crowded and low on stock, so Mindy decided to drive to a bigger store in the city center. After parking, Mindy and Miranda took the elevator to the first floor. Even before they entered, they saw large Christmas decorations and festive signs everywhere. Inside, the store was full of people buying Christmas items, creating a lively and happy atmosphere.

Nearly, because Rachelle and Trent aren’t here with us. Once we are all sated for the moment, we shower and get dressed for the day. I text Rachelle and Trent that we are coming to get them and then we will do some holiday shopping before we enjoy our Saturday night. We opt for Copley Plaza and Newbury Street, both are full of high end stores and little boutiques that are great for finding both holiday gifts and anniversary presents. I’m holding Rachelle’s hand and smiling at the way Gabriel keeps gently touching Domenic’s shoulder or arm as we look in the various shops. Trent walks a step behind us, but I don’t want him to feel left out.

"I know, but you're right, Tatum's been watching babies for a long time. She knows what to do, and she loves her two nieces. They're going to be fine tonight. Is she staying at your house?" Charity pulled her phone out of her purse to check the time before answering. "We got a hotel room downtown at the new hotel next to the Chamber. Since they're the ones putting on this Christmas After-Hours shindig, I thought there would be a code. I was wrong. It was expensive, like more than our house payment expensive, but we figured it'd be a good Christmas gift to each other." "They sure didn't mention the price when they had the grand opening did they?" Christine's sarcastic comment made both of the

The downtown area was similar to a lot of the towns Dak had visited recently, looking for the perfect place to start his new endeavor, but there was something slightly different about Christmas Falls, something special he couldn’t quite put his finger on. The Christmas decorations hanging from the lamp posts and strung around the trees were the same white lights, red bows, garland, and cartoony characters as everywhere else, seasonal flowers blooming from the flower beds while banners announced where he was and that he was welcome there, but an excitement seemed to hang in the air that he could only describe as a certain kind of Christmas magic he couldn’t ever remember encountering before.
