Training Arcs Novels & Stories

*** Ariana’s POV Sweat clung to me like a second skin as I wrapped up the last drill with Jax, Jake, and Jorge. Four hours of training had flown by, thanks to the endless series of drills and tactical discussions. Cover and Concealment, Safe Room Tactics, Kill Zone Avoidance—they’d thrown everything at me today. It wasn’t until Jax broke down the logic behind the drills that I realized how much I’d been learning. “It’s about responses, not reactions,” he had said. “A calculated response buys you time, and time is leverage.”

It fascinates me every time I went here and the gatekeepers do not even recognize me as their rival. Ever since I was a kid, I often pay a visit to Iasariel whenever I am drowsy or awaiting further challenges and explorations. My mother the Queen won't permit me to do something that would harm me, she often pursues me to explore music. I eventually understood how to play musical instruments and I would play whenever my brother, Gohan feels upset or distressed. Yet as I mature, I discover the passion within me to comprehend archery. And it pushes me to go beyond my limitation as a Prince, therefore, figured out that I love adventures. I always aim for the highest level and I didn't fail, I am

They should understand what they are up against. With a wave of his hand, Alaric disperses the illusion, turning his attention to the pack before him. "Today, we will focus on honing your agility and combat skills, this is as a warm up and for me to see how far you have come and how much work will be needed to make you ready,” he announces, his eyes scanning the attentive faces before him. Under Alaric's guidance, the pack members pair off, engaging in a series of agility drills designed to test their reflexes and coordination. They leap over obstacles, weave through intricate patterns, and execute precise movements with grace and precision.

“You’re up early.” “Training,” Beau bites into an apple. The crisp crunch makes me skin prickle. He talks around the hunks of it in his mouth. “Archie doesn’t train after nine in the morning until his night session. Trainings are about two hours.” He waves his hands. “Badda bing badda boom.” I sit up straight. “Archer’s up?” “He’s always up this early,” Beau takes another bite of an apple. “Surprised you haven’t noticed.”

“Not perform. Real tactics. Real responses. If we do a demonstration, it’s because it’s useful for training, not because it looks dramatic from the stands.” Kael, leaning against a nearby pillar with arms crossed, nodded. “We’re trainers, not actors,” he said. “If you want theater, find bards. If you want wolves who will actually react properly the next time someone carves a circle in their village, we run drills.” Rhea grunted. “Fine by me,” she said. “What are you thinking?” Rin stepped to the table, tapping the blank parchment as if it had already held a diagram. “First,” she said, “we run them through what happened at the pits. Stripped of drama. How the decoy worked. How the real site w

Hopefully, the lesson had been learned. Clearing my throat, I addressed the room again, my gaze sweeping over the gathered warriors. "Training!" I announced, my voice echoing off the walls. "From the age of six, I trained daily. By the time I was ten, training was a part of my everyday life, as it is for all Royal Pack warriors. Our program focuses on strength, agility, and endurance—qualities essential for every warrior, regardless of gender."

"I don't go easy. Rowan trained me himself, and he doesn't believe in half measures. If you fall behind, I'll push you. If you slow down, I'll make you faster. If you vomit…" "I clean it up, so I've heard." Nyssa laughed. "Then you're already ahead of most trainees." She handed Aria a wooden staff. "We start with laps. Three around the perimeter, strength work and lastly drills. Any questions?" "Just one." Aria gripped the staff. "When do I get to hit something?" Nyssa's grin widened. "I like you. Let's go." They ran up the mountain. The three laps nearly killed her.

Chapter: 54 ******* TALON: The sun hung high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the training arena, where I stood in the shadows, surrounded by a sea of eager faces. Twenty recruits, ranging from fifteen to eighteen, fidgeted with anticipation, their youthful energy palpable. Their eyes sparkled with a mix of curiosity and determination. Today, I would push their limits, and I would help them discover the warriors within themselves. “Alright, listen up!” I called, my voice steady and commanding, cutting through the chatter. “We’re starting with basic combat drills. Pair up and get into stance!”

Over by the tables, Marcus was shaking hands with the trainers after completing his mental test for the tracking assistant role. Unlike the position for Jax’s assistant, where only Serena had the balls to stand up to the “untouchable Bracia” the other non-warrior positions had three or four people contesting for a single spot. The field was still loud with murmurs and the scratching of pencils on clipboards.

“Right, welcome back trainees!” “Alpha!” We all respond in unison, standing up tall and placing our hands behind our backs. Lance and Mav take their place on either side of Alpha, my eyes focusing on Lance, who although not looking at me, was smiling knowing my gaze was fixed on him. “We hope you had a good break because now the hard work starts. Stage three recruits you will be moving into strategic thinking and weaponry, stage two recruits you will be working on your senses. The new stage one recruits will arrive this afternoon, you are to assist with their settling in and their sparring training where possible.”
