Training Arcs นิยาย & เรื่องราว

ARIA. It might not have looked like a war was being prepared for, but it was. A lot of the days were sharper now. Tighter, more deliberate. Training had become more intense across the board. It was the kind that pushed bodies further than they were used to going. We weren’t just learning to fight but were learning how to survive. The sessions varied from group to group. One-on-one sparring that targeted precision, two-on-one worked on coordination, and some that went as far as three-on-one, which worked on learning how to fight while outnumbered.

Celine took a deep breath, then looked at us with eyes full of determination. “We'll do it,” she said confidently. “We'll make Papa and Mama proud.” Alaric nodded in agreement, his posture becoming straighter. “Yes,” he said with more confidence. “We're ready.” The next six months were the most intense training period Alaric and Celine had ever experienced. Every morning, Alaric woke up at five for physical training with Kaelos. They practiced combat, stamina, and tactical maneuvers until eight. After a quick breakfast, Alaric attended a series of meetings with Beta Archer—learning about Pack management, resource allocation, and crisis response.

It was a meticulously structured routine designed to sculpt their physical capabilities and prepare them for the battles and challenges that loomed in the future. The initiation of their training began with an arduous 30 minutes of collective warm-up exercises. Astrid, alongside her fellow trainees, delved into a series of stretches and light jogging. This routine was carefully orchestrated to awaken their muscles, gradually increasing their heart rates, and mentally preparing them for the strenuous tasks that lay ahead.

Arnold said quietly near my ear, “I still want you capable of protecting yourself.” The warmth from his body surrounded me completely now. Protective. Heavy. Constant. “Training gives you more than strength,” he continued. “It gives confidence. Awareness. Control.” I frowned slightly, considering his words. “Do you really think I can catch up to everyone else?” Arnold’s arm tightened around my waist briefly as he guided the horse around a corner. “I am not asking you to become the strongest warrior in the pack,” he said. “But you should know the basics.”

ZACH WINCHESTER….. The morning air smelled like wet earth and metal. My grandmother had arranged the training ring before dawn, a wide circle of packed soil, targets set, ropes and dummies hanging from the trees. She moved with the quiet authority of someone who’d faced storms and come back smarter for it. Ariella stood at my side, eyes bright and steady, like she’d always been where she belonged. “Control is rhythm,” Axel said in my head, calm as tide. His voice thrummed against my bones.

“If he gets two hands on your gun, you keep the gun. If he gets one hand on your wrist, you keep your wrist. If he gets both, you become a problem in the hips.” She failed four times in a row and called herself a name in her head she would never use out loud. Vince leaned close enough that she could feel his breath but not his pity. “Good,” he said, and she nearly laughed at the nerve of it. “You’re learning ugly. Ugly keeps you alive.” Block 5: Tourniquets & Time. Marco set down a bright red training arm, tubing hidden inside to pulse fake bleed when he squeezed a bulb. “You love making holes,” he said. “Fine. Now become the person who can keep someone from falling through them.”

“Exhaustion teaches clarity. Pain teaches resilience. Mistakes teach survival. Today, you will begin to understand the strategy.” Aleron stepped closer to the group, his eyes on Aria. “And we’ll all be part of this,” he said firmly. “ We train together, or we fail together.” Aria smiled at him, grateful for the support. “Good. Then we start with awareness exercises. Trust your instincts, but anticipate your partner’s moves. Lyanna, Ronan, step forward. I want to see how you adjust to coordinated attack patterns.” The drills began, simple at first, dodging, countering, blending elemental surges but each exercise increased in complexity.

His brows pulled together. A faint smirk touched my lips as I explained further, “Imagine yourself tracking a big prey in the forest. The prey thinks it’s safe because it hasn’t been attacked yet and relaxes. But what it doesn't know“is that it’s already been cornered. Every path it could take for escape has already been cut off.” Aric exhaled slowly. “And when I as the hunter finally make a move, I kill it without struggle.” I met his gaze. “Finally, you're getting my point. So Aric, this isn't the time to panic and worry. You should be putting that energy into making sure our warriors train harder and hone their fighting skills.”

Although I wasn't able to understand most of them, I still decided to continue reading. The first book which I was able to make sense of was something called 'basic core training'. It was a normal exercise routine that was previously used by the military to train their soldiers. It was before the invasion occurred and hunters came into existence. Since I was going to start preparing for the awakening ceremony anyway, I decided to start early. .......................................…

||Raven|| After training, I dragged myself to the room. I was worn out. Warmed up, jogged for fifteen miles, sit-ups, three hundred push-ups and hand to hand combat had done a number on my bones and muscles. There was seriously something wrong with Alaric. How could he push a new trainee like me that hard?
