Chapter 21 – The Transformation Mira’s POV The morning air felt different. There was an electric charge in the atmosphere, a sense of something big about to happen. I had spent months feeling powerless, stuck in this hospital, watching my life slip through my fingers. But today, everything was changing. it’s been weeks i last met alex and Today we are meeting again Alex had arranged for a full transformation, and when I woke up, I found my hospital room filled with people—stylists, designers, makeup artists, and a hairstylist. It was overwhelming.

Tori POV Wow! I can’t believe I have a wolf! I knew I’ve had one since I was thirteen, but a wolf I will actually shift into! I’ve always been jealous over those in the pack that could shift into a wolf. I remember some of the warriors shifting into their majestic wolves so I could run with them on their back. I can only imagine the freedom one has running so fast and agile through the forest and feeling the wind rush through their fur. I’ve always wanted to be a part of that. Now I hopefully can. I just have to learn how to contact my wolf and get her to talk to me. I wonder if she likes me, even just a little bit. Oh my God, what if she hates me! What if I’m too ugly, or not smart enough!

The alert tones and Sadie's shouting blurred together, filling the car. Then the brakes hit. "Get out." Sadie threw the door open, came around to my side, and yanked me out by the arm. "Acting like you're better than us. Who do you think you are?" I didn't fight her. I stumbled, my knee slamming into the rough ground. Pain shot up my leg, and tears stung my eyes. But I was alive. This time, I was alive. Lillian got out right after and took my phone. She tapped through a few screens, changed the destination, and marked the trip complete. Then she held the phone up, smiling sweetly.

I heard in my head as I watched Matto change in front of me. He came next to me and nipped at my neck softly. I knew what he wanted and I knew that I wanted to be his mate.
