“And she doesn’t deserve it.” Mom’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Have you… have you two…” “No,” I cut in immediately. “Mom. We haven’t. I swear.” She studied my face like she was searching for cracks. Then she exhaled, long and shaky, sinking onto the edge of the couch. “I thought Noah’s dad gave you the talk,” she muttered. I let out a strained sound that was half laugh, half groan. “He did.” “And you listened?” “Yes!” Her eyes flicked up again, sharp.

We both will die together’ planting a soft kiss on her hair I whispered when Noah came forward with holding a phone in his hand. ‘Alpha, Luna Chloe wants to talk to you’ my eyes widened and I took the phone from his hand immediately. Mom had gone to spend the vacation at her cousin’s pack, and it is on the other corner of the world. After a long journey of struggle, mom finally decided to retire and spend the rest of her life enjoying and exploring. I was happy and supportive, she has every right to enjoy the life and once in a week or two, she calls and I haven’t told her anything about here, same was instructed to Noah and Ethan. ‘Hey Mom!’ I answered the call; Lilith raised her head in cu

Apparently, in my child's eyes, that was utterly humiliating. Caden's arms tightened around me. He turned, his gaze ice-cold. "Felix, your mother gets up before dawn every single day to make you breakfast. After you go to bed at night, she's still cleaning the house. "She doesn't have time to dress up because she spends all her time on you. Do you think the things you just said are fair to her?" "I don't care!" Felix shouted. "I just want a pretty mom! Ms. Sulvan would be perfect!"

“Hey, babe. How was the drive?” They chatted casually. Normal. Domestic. The sound of it made the guilt surge again, sharper this time. Mom had no idea. She trusted both of us. She worked so hard to keep this house, to keep our family afloat after Dad left years ago. And here I was, spreading my legs for her man every chance I got.

It was Mom. “Raven,” she said, her voice tight. “You have a call. It sounds... urgent.” Raven turned toward me slowly, her smile fading. She opened the door and reached for the phone. “Hello?” Raven said, her voice soft and cautious. There was a pause. I watched her expression shift slowly—first confusion, then a wave of dread that clouded her features. Her grip on the phone loosened as she looked at me. “It’s my mom,” she whispered. “They’re driving out now… and Noah is with them.”

] Trevor: [You're the little baby. Then, Leighton sent a sticker to tease Noah. Wenham asked again: [What baby are we talking about here exactly?] Stella: [@Noah, you're right.] The group chat went quiet for a moment. Suddenly, it erupted with messages in the next second. Trevor: [Keegan is outrageous.] Leighton: [Unbelievable!] Noah: [Finally, I won't be the youngest in the family anymore! Hahahaha!] Trevor: [That fool doesn't deserve this at all! I should've prevented them from being together in the first place!]

"It's not that your mom doesn't care about you. She just has things she needs to do too. "If you want to spend the New Year with Mom, then tomorrow or the day after, we can go to your Granny's place and celebrate with them, okay?" Her sobbing paused. "You'll go too?" "Yes," Trevor replied. She fell silent. He continued wiping her tears. "Then it's settled?" She nodded. But after two quiet seconds, she bit her lip again and said softly, "But I still want Mom to come home. She really hasn't been home for a long time..."

She had only seen Tristan come to the company and thought Noah was Tristan's son. Noah didn't know what she was thinking, so he nodded deliberately. "Yes, Tristan Shaw is my father." Linda didn't expect Noah to be Tristan's son. Her eyes lit up when she continued to ask, "Then who is your mom?" Noah guessed the reason she was asking these. Still, he answered, "Mom is just an ordinary person. You don't know her even if I tell you." Linda's eyes were full of smiles when she heard those words. "Noah, do you like me? How about I be your new mom?"

I'm suddenly wishing she were here. "So," Noah says, taking a step toward me. The towel is slung low on his hips, and I can see the muscles in his stomach ripple with every breath. "You’re not jealous." "No. I told you." I wrap my arms around myself, trying to find the words to ask him for money without losing every shred of my dignity. "My mom called." Noah’s playfulness disappears instantly. He leans back against his dresser, crossing his arms over his chest. "And? What does the lovely woman want this time?"
