The short, stout man named Triboar frowned. "Stop playing around! We've followed this kid all the way. Now that he's finally left the Hill family's territory, we should seize the opportunity and take him back as soon as possible."

He was older, with a short silvering beard and streaks of grey through his dark brown hair. “You know why” he chuckled. Yeh, I know why. Zelena. “Why do you want the Triple Goddess?” I roared. The hunter just smirked at me, staying silent. I stepped closer and threw my fist into the side of his face. Growls of excitement came from round me. “Answer me!” I growled. The hunter spat blood from his mouth and looked back at me with a grin. I lowered my head and growled a warning, if he isn’t going to answer he isn’t going to live.

He smiles sadistically, rubbing his hands as if he’s won some prize. “Submit now!” He says, using his aura, but Freya is the only one who feels it. She lets out a soft whimper while Tess and I snarl in defiance. Luna shows her sharp teeth, getting low again, ready to pounce. Suddenly a blonde guy, the Beta from inside, appears out of nowhere and punches the guy’s jaw, making him fall back on his ass. “I don’t think they want to come with you, so fuck off.” He says, fighting off that guy’s aura with his own.

His gaze lingered on the older warrior, a silent challenge in his eyes. Alaric and Theron flanked us within seconds, their movements fluid and synchronized. They remained silent, their presence no less intimidating, their gazes as cold and sharp as twin blades. The message was crystal clear, emanating from their combined power: Anyone who questioned Lyra’s place in this pack, anyone who dared to utter a word of fear or dissent against our child, would answer directly to the Triplet Alphas. And they would regret it.

Trixie sneered, her voice ringing out like a whip across the silent quad. "Get out of my fucking way, Trixie, before I break your fucking neck," Silas snarled, wiping a streak of black blood off his lip, his dark pupils glowing with pure murder. "You can't break shit, Silas," Trixie laughed, taking two slow, deliberate steps down the stairs until she was standing inches from my face. She looked past Silas and glared straight into my eyes, her lip curling into a nasty, venomous smile that made my stomach turn.

Her hands clenched into small fists and her brows scrunched up with resolve floating in her dark brown eyes. "You know Triantáfyllo, when I first saw you after all those years, in the hospital, I was dumbstruck. I couldn't believe my fate. It had brought you to me again. I decided to pursue you but one look at you and I was tongue tied. I couldn't even speak one full sentence when you looked at me with that sweet, innocent look in your eyes. And I guess that's why you named me Mr. Silencer." Triantáfyllo? Again? Mr. Silencer? What is this person speaking? She was unable to find out what he meant by his words. Who was he talking to? What does he mean? Is he talking to me?

"Her name is Trixie, and she was Lennox’s only friend." Was… That word hit like a ton of bricks as I realized that there was no way that Trixie and I could ever go back to the way we were. She was a traitor, and as such, she needed to be held accountable for her actions and punished accordingly. "A friend?" Gray repeated, eyeing me suspiciously. "Wouldn’t that make your woman a person of interest as well?" In one swift motion, Gray was moving, making his way towards me, ready to attack. However, Silas was faster, and before anyone could jump in to stop either of them, his hand was wrapping around Gray’s throat.

Trix, in his human form, stood facing a group of four hulking figures, all radiating an undeniable predatory aura. Trix, again. Why him again? They were arguing, their voices rough and angry. "Give us the key, Slater," one of the bigger wolves growled, his voice rough and full of threat. "And maybe we'll let that little trinket of yours stay intact."

His chiseled jawline is clenched, arms crossed as he looks at me. I look back to Silas. A sinister smile creeps across his face, revealing a perfect row of white teeth with long, sharp fangs where my canines would be. His dead eyes rake over me, causing a shiver to run up my spine, but I don't dare show it. "Ah, the young tribrid." he hisses. His voice was eerie; looking at him, you would expect it to be deep, but it was more shrill than anything. "You've come to play at last."
