Tulisan Goodbye

Prologue “We can’t be together,” he whispered, voice breaking. “You are my destruction.” Tears burned her eyes as she shook her head, stepping closer even though it felt like standing at the edge of a blade. “And you… are my ruin too.” The words tasted like a goodbye neither of them could accept. They were bound by something older than choice, older than mercy. A curse carved into blood and grief, waiting patiently for the moment they would finally meet. They were never meant to love safely. And if they ever surrendered to it— One would die. The other would be destroyed by love. The curse waited patiently. And destiny, cruel and inevitable, had already begun to pull them closer.

“Maybe we should get a divorce. Name your prize and leave.” Dylan said and I hiccuped immediately. My heart beat increased rapidly. Just then, my phone buzzed and I knew why he wanted a divorce. My sister was back. Even after three years of dedication and loving him, it turned out Dylan never got over Lexa. He was quick to rush to her as soon as she arrived in the city. Dalam hitungan detik, Raka menelepon dengan nada menuduh. "Dia ibu tunggal, aku merasa kasihan karena nggak ada laki-laki yang menjaganya. Aku cuma nemenin dia foto saja, kenapa reaksimu berlebihan sekali?" Malamnya, Indah kembali memamerkan foto kalung emas. "Setelah mengambil foto keluarga, dia maksa ngasih aku kalung emas." Aku tahu bahwa Raka membeli ini agar Indah tidak marah. Namun, kali ini aku berniat meninggalkannya.
