Then, we work on jumping tests with toe touches, pike jumps, and hurdlers. A coach should be here, at least, but I just continue. “Now, we need to see yourtumbling and stunt work,” Alicia explains, and I nod. I am panting, very sweaty and tired, but I’m a woman on a mission. We should be in class, but everyone is here, watching me tumble, and is obviously entertained. I do forward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, and back handsprings. “We can do the stunting later. It’s advanced, and you need experience for that. For now, I’m going to teach you a short cheer, and then, you do it.” Alicia steps down from the podium, and I nod.
