The night before our SAT, I tossed and turned, unable to sleep. Suddenly, my phone screen lit up. I received a text from an unknown number. [Tomorrow at 6:30 a.m.. Leaving for the testing center. Your sister disappears.] I stared at the screen, my heart jolting. I did have a twin sister, Molly Young, and we were both scheduled to take the test the next day. But what a pathetic prank. I tossed my phone aside, turned over, and went back to sleep. The next morning, we had barely left the driveway when Molly suddenly cried out beside me. “Oh no, I forgot my admission ticket.” “Dad, pull over! I need to go back and get it.”

She sighed. She decided to swipe her finger across the screen until finally a voice spoke through the phone. She placed the phone against her ear. "Don." The voice said. She realized it was Dr. McCoy. "Umm, Doctor McCoy, uhh, it's me, Bonnie. Lorenzo is not here right now. I-is everything alright?" She stuttered. Dr McCoy sighed. "I'm afraid I have some bad news..." Bonnie's heart dropped. "She didn't make it, did she?" She asked softly.

She began slowing down when tiredness became unbearable. "I'm tired.." She believed that Maggie had come over to get Wyatt back to their compartment, but Wyatt disagreed, causing the siblings to argue again. "Mom …" Maggie cried, her eyes red. She didn't know how to break the devastating news to Bonnie that Wyatt was dead. "What's going on?" Bonnie didn't think much about it and pulled Maggie back. "Don't cry, I'll scold him and teach him—" In that instant, Bonnie found herself unable to go on. As she pulled Maggie back, she saw a glimpse of someone lying in a pool of blood. It looked like Wyatt. At first, Bonnie thought she might be mistaken. After pushing Nadia and Maggie aside, she rushed toward where the person was lying.

It was my death certificate. Mom picked up a pen but didn't sign. Instead, she threw it heavily to the ground and tore the document apart until it was in pieces. She said, "I'm not signing it. Flora isn't dead! Why should I sign a death certificate for someone who's still alive?" Then, Mom yanked Cindy up from the floor. "Come home with me. Flora pulled this stunt when she was younger. She jumped into the river and made everyone think she was dead. And what happened? Didn't someone send her back the very next day?"

I know that Bonnie was avoiding calling her as she didn't want to interrupt in their honeymoon, but maybe she would call now that she had a problem. "Did anyone die?" Ethan's voice came in playfully as he picked up the phone. He sounded surprised, and I didn't blame him. I was the last person to call anyone. Except Bonnie of course. "Did Bonnie speak to Chloe?" "I have no idea. Did something happen?" He asked, his voice laced with concern. "I need to speak with Chloe." I waited for a short while, until he handed the phone over to Chloe. "Did something happen to Bonnie?" She went straight to asking me.

“I think I need French Fries.” Bonnie chuckled and realized it was the only sound to be heard besides the quiet background music. Everyone around them was locked on the T.V. screen. She looked at it, curious to see what had the whole room rapt. To her horror, a reporter was standing outside the alley she’d been attacked in. Her heart leaped to her throat.

Bonnie consoled. Nick shook his head and finished his drink in one gulp. He grabbed the liquor bottle and poured more vodka in his glass. Fuck the orange juice. He needed something strong tonight. “Once they got back on their feet, why didn’t they stop? The last video was posted three days before they died.” “The money was too good. I don’t know how much they made a month, but it had to be good. A year before they died, Danielle wore some nice jewelry,” Bonnie said.
