He had removed his cap so she could see his face more clearly. He looked like a superstar and his eyeglasses suited him well. He was one hot doctor.

He walked towards her and removed the handkerchief which was red by her blood. "Please help me... He has kidnapped me." Veronica looked at the doctor. And Vladimir was standing there with folded hands. He knows that doctor can't do anything because he works for him. He said something in Russian to the doctor and he nodded looking at the girl sympathetically.

After what felt like an eternity, I lifted my head when I heard footsteps approaching. I braced myself as I waited for the news. “Alpha,” the Doctor began solemnly, with the sleep deprivation obvious on his face. I wanted to stand up and face him properly. However, I stayed rooted in my seat, lacking the strength to push myself up. I was also afraid that I wouldn’t be able to keep myself up once I heard the news.

Hope's POV. What the hell am I doing? I am a doctor. A woman of science. Not some heroine in a supernatural romance novel. And yet, here I am, trudging through the misty forest again, guided only by this strange pull in my chest that has no medical explanation.
