Suddenly, she noticed something—a name—as she flipped the last few pages. “Eclipse Essence.” Her breath caught. “Take a look at this, Hadzen.” In seconds, Hadzen was standing beside her, looking over her shoulder. The journal described ancient ceremonies involving the Eclipse Essence—a unique, magical force manifesting once every few generations. The text claimed that the essence was tied to some wolves’ bloodlines, bestowing great power but also attracting chaos and devastation wherever it resided. Winter’s voice wavered as she gulped hard. “Do you believe Leo is pursuing this?”
