We can only drink wine and wish. In the evening when the ladies are gone, I pick out some books to take with me upstairs as I’ve finished the ones I have, I poke my cheek with my tongue looking at Twilight, I’ve read this book a number of times, but I really like the start of the book, the start of a story is always my favorite, I could reread it again and again so I add it to my pile, my fingers tracing the spine of the next book. A thought comes to me and turn to Maria who is also picking out some books, most times she reads while I work or when she's watching the kids.

She didn’t seem to know them. “You don’t know that?” She shook her head. “No,” “I read books, but not novels.” . Fucky! Seriously? She doesn’t really know twilight? I hadn’t seen the movie, but all the spoilers and snippets on social media made me feel like I had watched it and read the book. “Okay,” I answered, mainly because of his unusual interest in werewolves. He had done so much for me tonight; this was the little I could do to even the balance. He hit play, and I murmured, “Twilight it is, Ezra.”

She was getting bored. She went into the study to search for a new fantasy book. Alberto, her brother, added a new collection after fifteen days. He knew his sister loved to read fantasy books instead of love stories. She was running her fingers over the queue of the book's titles. "Twilight, Dead Beautiful, The Kiss of Deception, Relentless." She whispered the names of the titles, "City Of Bones," She pulled it out from the queue. She hadn't read it.

And as if by magic, words began to appear before my eyes, weaving a tale of destiny and prophecy that sent shivers down my spine. I gasped, throwing the book on the floor as I stumbled too, the shock of seeing words appear on their reeling in my mind. Carefully, I crawled towards the open book picking it up as I read the words written in it.
