It was just half an hour ago when Hemera lit the red and blue candle, signalling the beginning of their anticipated immaculate disrobed tango. The only two left in the pool are him and the raven-haired Rozelyn, who’s silently reading E.L. James’ Fifty Shades of Grey. ‘She’s really reading that under the mid-noon’s sun, huh?’ He thought as he took a spoon of lemon sorbet. In a second, he accidentally spilled the melting dessert in his topless body—making it look like a woman’s juice as it slid down in his smoking hot body, down to the serpent hidden beneath his shorts.

Twilight hears another roar in the distance. It was the roar of the prowler. Twilight smiles. I guess I’ve got more test subjects. Twilight runs towards the roar.

She nodded so I turned my gaze back to the paper. "I Zenith Adams, accepting the power of witchcraft." Then the circle around me turned blue, soon I saw my body floating. A beautiful shiny blue smoke was dancing around me, they formed into snowflakes of different sizes.

Tiernan clarified. "The Twilight Princess," Aideen affirmed again. "Do not ever call me that," I ground out. "What's wrong with being the Twilight Princess?" Aideen asked. "Too many damn vampire jokes," I snarled, and Tiernan choked back a laugh. "Vampires?" Aideen looked baffled. "Twilight is the title of a human motion picture about vampires," Tiernan explained. "It's a story; entertainment, like theater." "Which makes that title into a joke." I rolled my eyes. "As if it weren't bad enough to be a fairy princess. I swear; if my skin starts to sparkle, I'm going to scream."

Twilight was upon us, and I settled myself more comfortably into the window seat. I pulled the book Luna Carla had given me out of my worn tote bag. It had no title on the front, and was bound in a plain, faded purple cover. It was handwritten, rather than printed, with neat, slanting penmanship that had clearly been laboured over. I flicked through it idly, and then I began to read.
