Estelle was definitely not going to leave the castle without a hoody next time. The wind shifted again. This time it carried the scent of something sweet—rosemary, frost and the faint metallic tang of the leyline under Frostveil. Estelle frowned. “Do you smell that?” she asked. Adrian inhaled. “ It's Rosemary, it's coming from the herb beds on the east side. The wind’s carrying it over.” “ Do you... Want to see it? ” Adrian sounded somewhat hesitant. “ Mmmh.” Estelle nodded absentmindedly. Just as was about to pull away, Adrian held her tightly and leaped so high he crossed hundreds of meters.

“I really don’t think so. The smells are intolerable.” Normally Daniel was by her side these days, but the growing threat at the border between the city by the sea and the lands once ruled by Asnamar was becoming harder to manage and required more careful observation. Rosemary’s shallow breaths and dark eyes were difficult for a father to bear witness to. Without Daniel nearby to comfort her, this evening she looked particularly grim. “Are you taking the elixir I made for you?” Nodding gently, Rosemary gave a quick smile. “Yes. She pouted. "I don't plan on leaving soon anyway" she returned to a smile.

Chapter Two: SIGHTING Later that night, Rojean dolled up to go to a place that was both a nightclub and a bar that everyone was talking about. She was old enough, for sure, especially if she was going to get married soon. But she was never the kind of person to go out on the weekends, to a club or even a bar and always preferred the comfort of their apartment which Lucas didn’t mind at all even when he wanted to go out. She was in a cream coloured off shoulder dress which stopped mid-thigh and hugged her curves beautifully.

I manage to take it, but the spell that froze her has stopped and she is now after me in her full angered spirit. Rosemary's form looks like a giant foggy vampire. “The orange ones came later. Do you ever do research, or do you just exist in a bubble of ignorance?” “I exist to keep you on your toes,” he countered with a grin. “And clearly, it’s working.” At the next stall, I reached for a bundle of fresh rosemary, and Damian leaned in close, his voice dropping into a conspiratorial whisper. “Is this rosemary fresh enough for you, or should we interrogate the farmer about its origins?” I tried to glare at him, but his nearness made it impossible to maintain the act. “If you must know, rosemary is vital for the lamb dish I’m making. So yes, I will be scrutinizing it.”
