Relief flooded her, but almost immediately, the fiery heat in her body surged, overwhelming her. She slid down against the wall, her strength giving out, and pulled off her T-shirt in an attempt to cool down. Her breathing was heavy, and her pounding heartbeat echoed in her ears. Her entire body felt as though it were being devoured by ants, the sensation unbearable. She couldn’t stop the soft, stifled moans that escaped her lips. Suddenly, a sharp click pierced the air, and the lights flicked on. Tara’s vision blurred, her consciousness slipping away. Through her hazy gaze, she saw a tall, striking man walking toward her.

The blood loss will make her dizzy and fatigued. Jane's wolf seems to know it's now or never. She dashes forward, acting as if she is going high, but at the last moment, she stays low and grabs Regina's exposed neck. In a moment of absolute silence, the pack hears a loud crunch as Jane breaks the brown wolf's neck. Jane's bloody wolf drops Regina's limp form to the ground and stands tall. She glares at her pack with determined eyes. Jane's wolf, Lara- I am Luna of White Crest. I am Alpha Lance's mate. Are there any others who wish to join Regina.

“But you’re too weak. I don’t think you’ll be able to destroy it.” Before I can respond, a cruel voice cuts through the air. “That’s right… she won’t.” We all turn to see Jane, bloodied but alive, staggering to her feet again. Her eyes are full of madness. “Why don’t you give it up already, Asora?” she spits. “Hand over the necklace.” Asora steps in front of me protectively. “I’ll do no such thing, you witch,” she snaps. Feena stilled mid-pour. Elarin’s expression went carefully blank. “You’ll have to forgive us,” she said slowly. “That court… it carries a reputation. And its High Lord even more so. We don’t see many from the upper courts down here.”

I sent the most skilled shadow wolf, who was an expert in invisibility, to keep a close watch on the Twilight pack. After Dad and I left, Andre flipped the table in a fit of rage. "How could Jane do this?" he said in disbelief. "How could she leave me? What is she trying to do, asking her dad to show up in person? Is she trying to threaten us? Is she ever coming back?" Felicia sighed. "Well, Jane's mood has been terrible lately. First, Callie kicked her in the stomach. After that, she hasn't been able to rest properly. It's only normal for a pampered she-wolf like her to go to her dad for comfort.

My attention returned to Jane after I adjusted my shirt.

Yet. "So, what do you think?" Jane asks Jane is Victoria’s sister’s daughter, she is my age and she is my gateway to the werewolf land. I can’t explain how happy I was when I met her, although Victoria thought it was a big mistake introducing Jane to me probably because Jane supported my stupid decision as Victoria would like to put it that way. I don’t really know much about Jane because I met her once but I can say with full certainty that she’s the crazy kind of girl, the good crazy, I prefer.
