Relief flooded her, but almost immediately, the fiery heat in her body surged, overwhelming her. She slid down against the wall, her strength giving out, and pulled off her T-shirt in an attempt to cool down. Her breathing was heavy, and her pounding heartbeat echoed in her ears. Suddenly, a sharp click pierced the air, and the lights flicked on. Tara’s vision blurred, her consciousness slipping away. Through her hazy gaze, she saw a tall, striking man walking toward her.

A ripple shot outward in a bright ring. Snow shook off the windowsills. The lights flickered. The spark hopped up and clicked its legs like applause. Its glow concentrated, shrinking and sharpening into a bright pinpoint of light.

All blood drained her face and she paled immediately. She was staring at me as if she saw a ghost. I'm sure it's unbelievable to her, she didn't expect me to escape. She was so shocked that she didn't know when she let the glass of water she was holding in hand fell off and shattered on the floor.

I cried out, my breathing erratic as the soapy water from my hands splashed all over the dress I had on, soaking it…but I didn’t care on bit. I just wanted to get the sparkles off! And just then, Ethan’s voice calling out my name that I had a call snapped me away from my hands for a moment. “A-a call?” I stuttered, my entire body trembling as I did. But on resumption at the sink, I noticed just then that the sparkles were gone. They were absolutely gone and not scattered everywhere on my skin like they did a second ago. “Wah…what is this?’ I stuttered to myself, “Am I going crazy? Did that not just happen?”

Then, he went out of the comfort room, only for someone to tap him on the shoulder from behind him. “AAAAH!” Shane screamed, feeling startled. He almost jumped out of his skin. “What, feeling guilty for sneaking around?” a familiar female voice asked. Shane’s face instantly was covered in black lines. He turned and saw Raina and Heart Twilight standing behind him. But, he knows that like him being Sheinna, Raina is Raiver Midton, and Heart Twilight is Spade! Yes, they are guys who turn into girls because they are cursed. “Damn it, Rai! You scared me!” Shane didn’t hold back his curse. “I almost had a heart attack!” he told him.

She tried to speak, but her voice came out as a hoarse whisper. Sparkle hurriedly took a glass of water from the nearby dispenser and helped Nora take a few sips, providing her some relief. As Nora's voice regained some strength, she managed to murmur, "Sparkle, what happened?" Tears welled up in Sparkle's eyes as she replayed the events that led to Nora's collapse, carefully choosing her words to spare her any unnecessary distress. She explained how Desmond's strange behavior and the gunshot sound had startled Nora, causing her to faint from shock.

My breath fanned his bare chest, and I saw goose bumps form around the area. “I know I’ve said that before… but I really mean it. I regret putting you into this shit storm,” I continued, proceeding for a while longer before finishing: “I can only imagine how overwhelming all of this is to you. I mean, who would’ve thought—werewolves with special abilities? What is this, Twilight?” At this point I broke off into a nervous chuckle. Some part of me half expected Hector to at least humour me, and so when he didn’t I glanced up, hoping to at least see him smiling at me.

I immediately turned on the torch light on my phone and tried to calm her down. "Just follow my voice, baby. Take a deep breath." I tried to talk to her and she took a deep breath. "Now exhale," I whispered, holding her delicate face with my trembling hands. Fuck, she was scaring me and my heart was racing wildly. Tears were flowing down her cheeks and I was fucking helpless. I had no idea what to do and there was no signal on the phone. I've felt this kind of fear only once before in my life and it was when Rebecca met with an accident. This time I couldn't even call an ambulance.
