He, like me, did not like seeing her cry. “My dark princess I am not rejecting you. This Ulrik is not a worry to me. My pack is also in an alliance with both angel kingdoms, and we also have an alliance with the vampire kingdom. My pack is 10,000 plus strong. My pack has all of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. My cousin’s pack includes all of Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Labrador, Newfoundland and Prince Edwards Island. Let this Ulrik come he will not stand a chance.” I told her.

When Alpha Caprius smiles and extends his hand, I almost stop breathing. “Yes, sir.” I manage to whisper and give him my right hand. The Alpha’s hand feel warm and large when he twists my hand to reveal my wrist. “Alpha Caprius Strigon, 10th Alpha of pack Strigon, hereby grant this wolf my blessing to leave the boundary.” I wince in pain when the Alpha dug his nail into my wrist, drawing out blood as soon as he removes it. As blood pours out, it begins to seep into the skin around my wrist, forming a circular red tattoo.

Zayn had two elements to his advantage. The first was hate, and the second was rage, and they both quickened the preparation he had to make. That added with the element of surprise that the Silver Crest pack possessed was above all their greatest asset, and he wasn’t going to let that go to waste. He had seen the way the witches of Earlham fought, he had seen their strength, and their capacity. She mouthed a thank you because Kai began trying to get everyone’s attention. “Now that everyone is here,” Kai started, glaring at Wyatt, who just gave him a sheepish smile and shrugged, “We can discuss our plans moving forward. I would like everyone to know that you are welcome to come home with us, either for temporary or permanent safe haven. His expression changed. “What does it say?” I swallowed. “It describes their final night.” Kael moved closer. “Read it.” I looked at the faded words again. My voice came out barely above a whisper. “On the final night, the Alpha household was surrounded before the moon reached its highest point.” My fingers tightened around the paper. “Continue.” “Those who came wore no pack markings.” Kael's face hardened. I kept reading. “The order was given that no member of the bloodline was to survive.”
