Aren explains solemnly. Gil scrutinises the creature closely. Its mouth brims with sharp fangs that protrude menacingly from between its deformed lips. A forked tongue slithers between the teeth, greedily sampling the air in anticipation of the impending feast. The skin, covered in black and rough scales, seems as though it has been forcibly stripped from its original owner. Grotesque scars and marks adorn its body, hinting at unspeakable torture endured. Each step it takes leaves behind an aura of malevolence and death.

The howling grew louder, almost deafening, until it felt like the forest itself was screaming in warning. Out of the maelstrom, they emerged. Three monstrous creatures stepped forward, their forms grotesque and twisted. They were unlike anything Magnus, Lara, or Alex had ever seen—hulking beasts with elongated limbs and eyes that glowed a sickly yellow in the darkness. Their bodies were covered in matted fur, patches of rotting flesh visible beneath. Saliva dripped from their gaping jaws, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth.

And then I saw them. The creatures pouring through the gaps were unlike anything I'd ever imagined. Later, after everything had fallen apart, the survivors tried to describe them—demons, they called them, or the Scourge. The creatures didn't care about Ardina's screams echoing in the cave. The creatures are like aliens. It has tentacles like an octopus around its mouth. They don't have noses and ears, but they have two holes on the left and right sides of their faces. Ardina did not understand about the body structure of the aliens they had never met before. Moreover, his body is very disturbing smell. The stench exceeds the smell of carrion that has been snatched up by the maggots.
