Lycan King's Omega Mate

Lycan King's Omega Mate

A tense look clubbed with rage descended on Owen's face as he rode the horse cart further and said, "Lucas, where the hell are you? I hope you are safe!" Owen turned to the left and continued riding. ~~~~~~~ A smile descended on Skyla's lips as she concluded, "So, this forest has been helping me all this while! Thank you so much, Moon Forest!!" Gaping at the banyan tree where her body was wrapped in the roots and stuck at its trunk all the way to the top, Skyla said, "But for how long can I be up here, like this?! I need to get down!" Licking her lips, she said, "Thanks for helping me out, but dear tree, I want to get down, please help me!" Skyla said sweetly.

Chosen By The Moon

Chosen By The Moon

“When she gave you the ability to hide your scent, where did you go to ask her for help?” The woman glanced at Oliver, who looked as equally as baffled as she was. “That old oak tree.” She pointed to a large majestic tree, that sat directly at the edge of the clearing, we walked over to it and noticed a pattern carved deeply into the bark… “it’s the lunar cycle.” “The Luna oak!” Oliver quickly dropped to his knees in front of the tree out of respect. “I’ve only ever seen pictures… It’s said that the original lycans planted it, in respect of the goddess herself.” It was the perfect place for me to attempt to make contact again.

excellent work author and I think I understand the reasons why you insisted so much on this pain during the first pages. I am sure that Dylan will not remain without her arm, like all those who are still alive and were mutilated during the battle, she will ask the goddess for help on this subject.

I Wish they would make physical versions of it. This is one of the few stories of this type that I'm really enjoying to read. I'm still in chapter 20. I hope they keep the quality... but, until now, this book is definitely my favorite from all the ones that is in apps there is like this one.

I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY

I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY

Like it knows something important is about to happen and doesn’t want to miss it. We stop near the old oak tree that holds the swings. It survived the battle somehow, some part of it cracked but still alive. Someone wrapped glowing charms around its trunk to help it heal. Soft light pulses from them, slow and steady. Karl leans against the tree. I sit on one of the swings. My lips curl into a teasing smile, gesturing to the empty swing by my side. “You don't want to sit?” “Nope, I think I'm good standing here.”

The Alien Love Series

The Alien Love Series

Chapter 113: The orange tree. Ike entered his two-acre enclosed garden and scanned for the queen. Shay's typically regal form sat hunched on the bench under his orange tree. The glass ceiling of the yard was being pelted with rain as she wept softly. Ike paused as he considered what to say to the only mother figure he'd had in his life.

THE REJECTED LUNA

THE REJECTED LUNA

I opened my eyes. Mara was there. Not a vision this time. Solid. Standing under the tree with her hand on its trunk, her all-white hair moving though there was no wind, her white eyes kind. “You came,” she said. Behind me, outside the circle, I heard shouting. Howls, very close now. Jax shouting, “Stay back! She’s under Oak protection! Old law!” And Harlan’s voice, furious: “She’s my pack member! That tree is dead! Old law is dead!”

Phasma

One of them is being supported by the other two. “I told you we would have been better off chasing after those SP students!” said the injured one. “Too late for that now,” snapped the other, “We don’t even know where they disappeared to!” As the three of them entered the woods, they took cover behind one of the tall oak trees and paused to catch their breath. “Did we loose them?” asked the third member of their squad. “I hope so—“ The branches of the oak tree suddenly reached down to them, pinning them to the trunk. The three try to squirm away, but as they raise their weapons to retaliate, three sharp thorns were fired towards their chests which broke their tokens right away.

Talon - A Warriors MC Romance

Talon - A Warriors MC Romance

The oak tree loomed over us all, an ancient monarch shivering on its last morning. Talon fired up the chainsaw again and pushed it into the wound. The blade screamed. Chips and dust flew at him, clinging to the sweat on his arms and face. Jake crouched at a careful distance, reading the fractures where the trunk was splitting. His voice was urgent — “Angle it! You’re veering right!” — and Talon corrected, sweat running in sheets down the back of his neck. The saw chewed deeper, and a shudder ran through the trunk. The leaves above began to rattle. In the hush between engine bursts, I noticed Mike seemed to be breathing hard — short, sharp, rapid. Was he crying? Or was his chest just hitching

The Lycan King's Affection

The Lycan King's Affection

A moment that was supposed to bring every mother joy filled me with only dread. The frustration was palpable - we were making no progress. We were simply wandering blindly through the maze of trees. Dread settled heavier in my gut with every fruitless step. Finally, as the last rays of half-light faded, Ophelia stopped and turned to us. "Let me try something." I watched apprehensively as she stepped up to a gnarled oak tree and pressed her palms against the bark. Her eyes slipped closed as she began whispering under her breath. Old tongue.

Escaping with the Alpha

Escaping with the Alpha

She was distraught about something, and I wanted to pull her in with us and find out what was bothering her, but with the Obsidian elves after us, I didn’t have time. “Olive, what’s wrong?” I asked. She gently motioned for me to step further inside the tree. “Goodbye and farewell, my darlings. I’m so glad I met you. Follow the path and get home safely.” I heard the commotion as the hoard of Obsidian elves neared the tree. Olive gave us one last sad smile, before she slammed the door shut, and the outline of the door faded into the wood. It was now dark, except for a few small lanterns that led the way down a wooden staircase. We followed the lanterns as we descended further underground.

A fun-light hearted story with the glitz of magic and spook of relationships. This story felt pocket sized, with no ego and great grammar and sentence structure. My only request is a touch of diversity, to make it more relatable to more people. A lovely weekend escape, fun from beginning to end!
