I knew he was supposed to be here. Thinking he was yet to come, I sat under the oak tree and waited for him. I kind of see why he liked this place, the cool breeze brushing against my skin was so calming, and the leaves on the oak tree rustled with the wind. I closed my eyes, breathing deeply, enjoying the calm environment. I think I was too engrossed in how good I was feeling that I did not know when I fell asleep. I don’t know how long I had slept, but when I woke up, I was moving in the air, my eyes immediately flew open, scared I was being kidnapped.

It is where most of them live too.” Rosalyn blinked. “What’s an oak tree?” I lowered my voice slightly like I was about to tell her the world’s greatest secret. “It’s a magic tree.” Her eyes widened instantly. “It is?” I nodded seriously. “It holds all the secrets in the world. Everyone tells it their secret, and it has seen so many generations and so many people, and it knows everything that is there to know.” Rosalyn gasped softly. “No way…” “And,” I added, glancing briefly at Mia before looking back at our daughter, “it’s your turn to tell the tree one of your secrets too.”
