Kaira groaned and I leaned us up against a tree to catch my breath. A tingle of power snaked through my back as I made contact with the tree and I spun, staring.

I woke up from the hospital after everything that happens only to find out that Cristine spilled the truth to Lexis while I was still sleeping in that fucking hospital bed! I was fuming mad.
