Come Kiara, Morrigan will lead us to safety.” Kaira was half delirious in my arms as we stumbled farther into the ever-deepening forest, the oak trees bare of leaves with the fur trees providing some cover for us. Kaira groaned and I leaned us up against a tree to catch my breath. A tingle of power snaked through my back as I made contact with the tree and I spun, staring.

I woke up from the hospital after everything that happens only to find out that Cristine spilled the truth to Lexis while I was still sleeping in that fucking hospital bed! I was fuming mad. The man said weakly as he held out his hand. As everyone minus Jill reached out their hands to help him a smile creeped up on his face and Jill knowing something bad would happen and couldn’t stop it in time so she grabbed his hand as well and, in a flash, they were gone. The box itself that Jill was worried about had also disappeared and in a sudden flash of lightning the great infamous oak tree of Oaken Hills was struck.
