In the middle of the meadow stood a huge, ancient oak tree—its branches spread wide, creating a perfect natural canopy.

The clearing shifts. The trees blur and rearrange. The vision expands outward like a map unfurling. I see forest stretching westward denser, darker. A narrow trail barely visible beneath overgrowth. A river cutting through stone. Then a massive oak tree. Its trunk is split clean down the center, blackened along the jagged seam as if lightning once struck it from sky to root. The top half leans precariously but still lives, branches heavy with leaves.

The talking oak tree was taken aback when he saw that the group of young warlocks had returned. Recalling the matter about the Antediluvian cat, the guardian tree in the Forbidden Forest looked for Nero. Upon catching the sight of the daggers in the other party's eyes, Nero' eyes shot up and an ominous premonition arose in her mind. My ears were on a high alert for any unnecessary voice. There was nothing suspicious but I knew things could not be this easy. Ace was on edge, ready to pounce out at any given chance. Daniel and I moved around the ground to find the bunker but there was no trace of it. The whole thousands of acres large ground was spread out into oblivion.

Si Xiu walked towards her in doubt, "Do you think there could be some hidden path in these trees?" Tang Li nodded, "Possible. Or else, how would they disappear all of a sudden?" And true to her thoughts, her attention was caught on the large oak tree. The black sedan was parked exactly under it. So, maybe She quickly ran towards the edge of the road before glancing at the tree that was slightly curved outwards with an enormous hollow in it. "Damn.." Just as her leg slipped, she held one of the hanging galls of the oak tree before stabilizing on her feet.

Johnny and I often felt at home in the woods, but even we were nothing but mere visitors of what was their habitat. The trees towered above us, their branches interlocking to form a towering canopy that provided welcome shade on this hot afternoon. We walked at a leisurely pace as we navigated our way through the woods, the occasional fern or wildflower brushing against our legs as we went. After a while, we stopped walking and sat under the huge oak tree we had earlier seen. “Ethan was pretty shaken about everything,” Johnny said as we sat. I fidgeted with a little stone in my hands. “I’m sure he has the right to. I feel so bad for him.”

Okayo remarked. Okech put on the black dress, plucked up a strand of grass and walked into the garden. He searched among the purple flowered plants till he found one of the salvia plants. He then looped the strand and placed it on the tree-let. "See, it's over here. Don't forget," he shouted at Okayo. When he had come out, Okayo wore the dress and walked into the garden to uproot the tree. Just then, the python snake they had encountered on their first visit appeared from a point in the garden. He stood back in shock. Seeing how shaken he was, his brothers moved closer to the garden to check what was wrong. When they beheld the reptile, they cried out at once, "Get the plant and leave!"

Colton looks like he wants to walk into a tree. I shake my head, unable to stop the small smile tugging at my lips. “You two are terrible at lying.” Oakley beams. “Thank you.” “That wasn’t a compliment,” I say. “It felt like one,” he replies. Colton exhales slowly. “Let’s just… move on. The orchard is this way.” Oakley nods quickly. “Yes. Orchard. Trees. Fruit. No mysterious healer prophecies there.” Colton mutters, “Hopefully.”
