Her mind flooded with questions that she wanted to ask the greedy tax collector. Aurora couldn't believe her ears. She has never seen the king or heard anything good about him. He was a greedy and evil person and she despised him. But she couldn't make sense of what the man was saying. He was always in hiding. So how was he dead? What was his cause of death? None of the villagers knew about the King if he was dead or alive but here the tax collector stood spreading the news of the King's death. She doubts he has ever met the king.
