Romans & histoires Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans

I press my lips together and he looks down at the bottle and then sets it to the side as he says, “It’s probably best if we don’t drink that?” I raise one eyebrow as I silently ask him why and he explains, “That is werewine… it’s more potent than human wine and since you don’t have a wolf it would probably get you drunk with just a single sip.” A giggle slips through my lips and I ask, “And how does it make you feel?” He says, “Werewine exists to give us a small buzz. A weaker wolf like an omega might could get drunk if they drank enough of it. But for an Alpha the effects are very minor.”

Their senses were additionally heightened but no one can genuinely measure exactly how much more they are heightened. I continued reading about their physical features, scanning through the similar and obvious things until I noticed that the book claimed that lycans can walk on two legs OR four. They could partially shift and remain a truly shared body; a blend of the human and beast in perfect harmony. The next section I got to was titled, ‘Bloodlines’. Just as I was about to begin reading the section, I paused and closed the book. I could sense my Beta nearing the library. He finally had a report for me.

My eyes were wide open in shock and fear. How could I forget; this woman was a God damned fully awakened lycan. “You dare try to strike me, Gabriel?” She roared. The entire matter had escalated into more than I had bargained for and it was going to escalate some more if I did not find a way out of it. A lycan mate is very similar to a black widow spider or a female prey mantis, their mates are always in danger. Mira's height was steadily increasing as her body morphed into its secondary form.

Zaiden kicked Stefan's body, freeing himself. Cedric lifted himself and landed a hard, deep scratch on Lyall. Lyall groaned. Initially, Lyall was no match for Cedric. He had fought Cedric before. Cedric was certainly strong, and Lycaon would defend him. After Lycaon's death, Lyall remained overwhelmed. Their final battle had actually resulted in Lyall transforming into a Lycan. FLASHBACK

That was where the light was coming from. The light was bright. Too bright. I had to close my eyes. I only opened my eyes when I heard a loud growl in the room. I saw met with a sight to behold. It was Lucan Lycans form. Unlike werewolves, Lycans didn't undergo a full transformation. Lycans were like therianthrope. Their upper body remained the same, but their lower side were like werewolves on steroids, standing on their agile hindlimb.

Ryan asked, trying to keep up a defiant face but I could see that he was going weak. Interesting!!! "Hmmm, why do you have so many prisoners?." The man questioned again, staring at the vastness of the dungeon. "You haven't answered my god damned question!!." Ryan scowled and the man looked at him for a few seconds before heaving a sigh. " That should tell you that they are nonsensical and irrelevant questions that aren't worthy of an answer but nonetheless if you want to know... I'll tell you. I'm Lycan King Kye Blackwood, leader of the lycanthropy. " He said and a gasp escaped Ryan's lips while I just giggled in ecstasy.

He only knew he was sold in the omega market. Oscar looked at Logan steadily. "One thousand years ago the Lycans waged war against us. They were stronger than us in physical form and they drove us underground. They sealed the portals between our world and theirs and they told the world above that vampires had been destroyed. That we no longer existed." He paused. "But we were not destroyed. We were just trapped."

I ignored the warning to access the file. The First King wrote in his journal entry that "The Old World beasts must be fought by returning to mud." "The Primordial Font exists deep underground the Capital's lowest dungeons which sit beneath the continent's bedrock. It serves as a crucible of undiluted Lycanthrope energy which forms the earth's violent heartbeat. I read faster, my eyes darting across the glowing words. The ancient magic will rewrite his DNA through violent methods which make him lose all his evolutionary capabilities. It provides the true Lycan attributes of bone-armor and size and boundless strength which belong to a real Lycan.

Marcus breathed, and when Silas entered a complex manual override code the air changed, like the place itself was holding its breath. The doors groaned open, revealing a sprawling, heavily fortified bunker—more than a shelter, really. A hidden metropolis under the subways, packed with hundreds of rogue wolves, displaced Lycans, and underworld mercenaries who ran on rules outside the High Council’s laws. The second Dominic stepped inside, the chaotic noise basically died. Every Lycan in the cavernous chamber dropped to one knee, bared their necks, full submission to the Supreme King.

I tell her. “Yeah?” “Definitely.” “Okay, tomorrow we start self-defense training. Tonight, we watch Underworld!” “Underworld, what’s that?” “A movie with both vampires AND Lycans. That’s werewolves, right.” “Sort of,” I shrug. “Well, they don’t like each other, and I got the distinct impression that vampires and werewolves don’t get along, so …” she says, giving me an excited look while letting her voice trail off.
