It’s Friday. Game day. A day I have been waiting for all week. Ever since Monday night I have kept my head down and worked my ass off with schoolwork, football, and rebuilding a friendship with Savannah. After I walked Savannah home Monday night, she got me thinking about my future too.

RIVER It is finally Friday night, and my entire wardrobe is on the bed. My Friday nights back home were usually filled with me eating Oreos and watching game shows on the television, and then on Saturday morning, I'd do my laundry and catch up on all of my schoolwork, but with the party and all of the things I had been hearing about it, I was sure that my weekend was gone.

I say before sitting down on a chair of the island. "Little star." Nathaniel walks into the kitchen. "What senior event do you guys have planned this Friday?" He asks, looking very grumpy. "Well, good morning to you too Mr. Grumpy." I say sarcastically. "Via." He says which causes me to sigh. "Okay, okay." I try to think of the calendar Kol showed me with all of our senior events. "We don't have any this week." I shake my head. "Next Friday is senior night and lights out though."

He kissed her red hair, adjusted her luscious hair from the nape of her neck, breathed on it, and gave her light kisses on the neck to the collar bone.

Present September 2016 Friday had arrived faster than I wanted and by the end of the night my phone rang for a message from an unknown number. It was obvious that he went to make sure that I wouldn't play one of my games to leave him standing, which not only spoke to the twistedness of the matter, but the control he had over me.

He sounded like that a lot these days. "You met Trish yesterday, right? What did she say? Are they close to getting what they want?" Nate wanted to sound brave but his voice denied his will. Damien sighed and rose from the couch, setting himself into a sitting position. His hands reached up to gently rub his face before a ran his fingers through his dishevelled hair. Marc was racing around putting things out and trying to get Jasmine to tidying the front counter. Today was Thursday. Thursdays and Fridays were always the busiest days at The Maze, hence Jasmine’s presence. She was slow and cumbersome. Her stocky build and dead straight black hair made her even more unusual and totally out of place. However, she was great at front of house and as much as Marc protested, she could make a mean coffee. Marc hated Thursday’s and Fridays simply because Jasmine had a little crush on him, despite the numerous attempts he’d made to inform her he was gay.

I looked out the window to see Vlad take off. I walked to the elevator and waited for the door to open when my phone pinged. I looked at my phone to see who had texted me. The text came in from a group chat. Tate and Skye sent me a text letting me know that they were going to be staying home for another day. I got really sad after seeing this text, see on Fridays we go out dancing at random clubs. This Friday was going to be a great night because we were going to the same club we went to last Friday, which meant that I would get to see Mr.Sexy again.
