Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

He meant *forward,* but his attention was on the core. The pillar loomed in the middle of the fused chaos, untouched by the fracturing floor. Everything else was in flux. It was the only fixed point. Another tile ahead tried to drop out from under us, carnival planks yawning over a bottomless dark. “No,” I snapped, not at the plank, but at the *fall.* “Shorten,” I thought, hard. “Half‑meter drop. Not pit.” The edge of the board lurched downward—but instead of falling into infinity, it stopped after a foot, snapping into position just low enough that we had to jump, not plummet.

HER EMERGENCY GROOM

HER EMERGENCY GROOM

When it rang for the third time, I drape my arm over the railings and let the bag slip from my my hand, going to hit the glass of a car in traffic. People look up at the rooftop and I see them taking pictures. I laugh heartily, my mind completely going off before I feel my body swerve back and I fell on the ground. I am at this point where I don't need to know the exact thing they talk about, to know it's for my downfall and another chapter of torment in my life.

In love with a lycan: Star light, star bright

In love with a lycan: Star light, star bright

I take a deep breath, feeling the adrenaline pumping through my veins. With a nod and thumbs up from my instructor, I jump off the plane, feeling the rush of the wind against my face. The freefall is intense, but I love every moment of it. As I fall, I look around me and see the stars twinkling above me, each one seeming to call out to me. I can almost imagine myself reaching out and gathering those sparkling gems with my own hands. Chuckling to myself, I imagine catching a falling star and putting it in my pocket, just like in a popular song.

My New Neighbour

My New Neighbour

I'm not gonna follow your orders. I pushed him away which took him by surprise. He almost fell down when he stumbled backwards but he managed to keep his balance. Dang it. He should have fallen down and bruised some parts of his body. Maybe then, he would have learned from his mistakes. Sometimes, when a person thinks highly of himself and starts flying up in the sky, he should be yanked down back on earth and has a taste of what the earth feels like again. Only then would he realize that he has been flying a little bit too higher for his own good.

Vette
Will there be a second book? I noticed the author doesn’t comment on anything so I’m gonna guess and say no that the readers don’t seem to matter with zero interaction from the author.. good book though.

I so enjoyed reading this and am so excited to start the second one. This novel was very well written and kept me interested. I like happy endings and the threat of revenge still is something to be aware of. The writer of this story is very talented

Rescuing the Beta's Mate

Rescuing the Beta's Mate

It was enough that I could slip a claw through and slice the barrier up through the middle. I was immediately falling from the sky. I imagined a soft pillow catching me, uncertain if that exercise would work. I closed my eyes, fearing the worst as I dropped hard to the ground. Surrounding me was the fluffiest pillow that took the brunt of my fall. I laid there for a second, catching my breath.

Shadows Of The Heart

Shadows Of The Heart

Panic grabbed Vanadine’s chest as his left hand fell from the pavement. He hung by his right for a few seconds before his fingers gave out and he was scrabbling for purchase, fingers ripping at the soil and rock as he picked up speed falling down the almost vertical surface. All thoughts fell from his mind as his brain focussed entirely on stopping him from certain death. There was nothing to grab, nothing to catch hold of and he felt the phantom of death hovering at his shoulder. The drop would be over soon, the impact sudden and his death brief, leaving his broken body for the scavengers.

Falling for my Alpha

Falling for my Alpha

“Yes, Mom. I’ll try to take it one day at a time. It’s just so tough knowing all that I’m giving up.” “But that’s not what you should be focussing on Amelia. You should be focusing on all that you have gained! You now have a pack to lean on, you are no longer alone in the world. You no longer need to worry about your safety when you have your pack watching over you. There is so much to look forward to. I know it’s tough to see it right now, but this might just be the best thing that’s ever happened to you.”

The Fall

The Fall

I didn't have a room. "Skylar!" Hearing his voice had my heart racing with fear, I walked down the stairs to meet him in the hallway. There was a door under the stairs, probably to the basement which is where they made me sleep last time. My step-father stood there with the door open. Suddenly he shoved me and I slipped, falling down each step. Rolo barked and growled at him, earning a kick for himself before he too got locked in the basement with me. I swear I heard him lock it with a key. There were three lights down here, they were fairly dim, the floor had been carpeted thankfully, a single mattress lay in one corner of the room no bedframe, a dog bed next to it with the dogs food and wa

Woke Up When The World Ends

Woke Up When The World Ends

Due to it nervousness, I almost fall slipping on the ground if not for me having the chance to control yet another debris to keep me standing on the air. “That was clos—” Boogsh A loud bombing was heard, did my fall somehow save my life? If somehow I didn't slip myself like this.. I wonder if my body would have a big hole in the center… Just thinking about it makes me shiver in fear Should I intentionally fall like this again? Just what am I thinking right now? Didn't just a while ago I was so high spirit shouting how it was nice to go boom boom bam and swish all those bastards like a clean sweep?

Falling for the CEO

Falling for the CEO

She felt different emotions at the same time while trying to clean the mud off her body. First, she was surprised that he had won Where had he learnt to ride like that? She wondered. It was definitely not from her because he was always unserious and uninterested about riding. Next, had he pushed the pole on purpose to make her fall? Was that how cheap he was going to play? The emotion that troubled her the most was the embarrassment, the embarrassment of starting off proudly and finishing up very badly. Like they always said, pride comes before a fall. "That was an honest mistake," he answered.
