It was just flat wood, flush with the wall, and there was no way to open it at all. I took two, stumbling steps backwards, mouth opening and closing like a fish… then took a deep breath and threw myself at that wall, screaming. “Let me out! Let me out right now!” I pounded it with the backs of my fists and kicked it and did everything I could—even clawing at it with my fingernails, trying to pry it away from the wall. But I couldn’t even make it budge. “Dad! Dad, you don’t have to do this! I want to take them down—”

I’d learned that lesson more times than I could count. The web stretched from wall to wall, thickest in the center where I hung. My right arm was stuck worst, glued from shoulder to fingertip. My left had a little give near the wrist, but not much. My legs were pinned but my knees could bend, just slightly, if I tried hard enough.

The Wall is the worst thing about this whole camp. It's like an obstacle we went over the first few days, but ten times harder. That obstacle had pieces of Velcro on it to help you not slip. The Wall is completely smooth, and around five feet higher. You have to run to gain momentum and then climb like Spiderman until you get on the top of it. Elliot and Lesley have climbed it as a demonstration countless times without even running out of breath, but none of us delinquents have been able to.

As I stare at them, one thought takes over everything else: I need to get out of here. I can’t stay stuck in here, especially with him. I need a way out. Rushing toward the elevator doors, I slam my hands against the cold metal, palms flat, fingers splayed. I push. I shove. I dig my nails into the seam between them, trying to pry them apart, but they don’t budge. Not even a creak. Just solid, unyielding steel, as if mocking me with its stillness. "Hello?" I call out, my voice echoing off the walls. "Anyone there? We’re stuck in here! Please help!"

The wall reformed right before our eyes. “Really? You’re kidding me right now!” Callie slammed her right foot into the wall with frustration then bounced back, hopping on the other foot, “Ow, ow, ow. It’s a real wall.” I sighed and shook my head. How was that even possible? Moving an entire rock wall. “I know this is some witchcraft-type stuff going down here.” Callie retorted. “How do we get in?” I said, mostly to myself.

All of a sudden, my body collided with a wall and all of my credentials flies on the floor. Wait a minute....A wall? I waited to feel the pain at the moment but I felt nothing. In fact, the wall had moved by it self. Just incredible! I never knew a wall could move all by it self. Just as I was about to regain my posture back, I heard a very deep husky voice. "Can you watch your way next time?....so clumsy". He hissed and walk away.

As soon as I did, the cot collapsed, and I hugged the bar to my chest. When I didn’t hear anyone coming to find out what the sound was, I ran over to the window to try to dig myself out. The foundation started crumbling as soon as I started stabbing the bar into the wall. I worked on the wall for a while and had to ignore the scrapes my hand kept getting every time my hand slipped. After a while, I managed to dig out one corner of the window, but it still wasn’t good enough. By now my hands were covered in dirt and blood, but I didn’t stop. I kept trying to connect with Stryker but couldn’t get through.

I pounded against the wall, seeing the bond disappear into it. ‘Nate! No! Please! Please don’t! Don’t lock me out! Please!’ I shouted at the wall as I pounded against it. It wasn’t budging, and I howled, throwing my forehead against it. Once, twice, but the third time I just rested against it. ‘Please. Don’t shut down the one thing I have. Please. Don’t.’

Unfortunately, the wall suddenly jammed, leaving little room for entry. What the hell was this? Was this base so old-fashioned that it could get stuck like this? Meanwhile, Alex growled and was already running towards Ruby. Suddenly, Ruby panicked and burst through the open gap immediately, not caring whether her body would fit. She just had to get in before Alex pulled Ruby out. "Aaaaaa!" Ruby's scream echoed when Alex was almost there. He tried to pull Ruby's hand. Ruby's shoes rubbed violently against the tiles, pushing her body harder to get inside and successfully avoiding it.

He pins me to the door and stares directly into my eyes,void of emotions. "Will you just shut the fuck up,you were making a scene in front of my house for something you know nothing about!"He barked on my face. Seriously what's with these boys with pinning me to the wall. Only Alex gets to do that to me because for some reason i feel weak under his grip but not with his skunk. I push him hard away from me, making him to fall on the ground. I trampled him beneath my feet and he tried to get away from my grip. All to no avail.
