Slowly, Viper went back to what he was doing. When he finished, he looked over to find his mate doing something to the child's hair. It puzzled Viper initially. He watched until she was finished and discovered they were braids like his own, only done differently. The technique she used was not the one he did. Viper had not realized she was capable of doing them and made a mental note to ask his little mate to do his some time.
