Valkyrie Diana Library Novels & Stories

“This is Catherine. Before Lucian. Before everything fell apart.” “What happened?” “What always happens. He got bored. She got inconvenient. He paid her to disappear.” Diana’s voice is bitter. “Quarter million. Plus the London job. Plus the NDA that keeps her silent.” “That’s not, Lucian wouldn’t—” “Wouldn’t what? Pay off a woman who knew too much? Who could damage his reputation?” Diana leans forward. “Ms. Vale, I’m not here to hurt you. I’m here to warn you. Richard Vaughn wants Lucian gone. And he’ll use you to do it. But you don’t have to be collateral damage.”

He strode to the holographic display, bringing up the complex, multi-layered schematics for Alcatraz that Valerius had just delivered. "Katherine," he said, his voice locking with hers, a silent communication passing between them. "I need you to get me temporary, high-level Fenrir Council IFF codes for the Valkyrie fleet. When we make our move, I want our drones to appear on their tactical sensors as friendly assets, as part of their own patrol." A flicker of understanding, of cold, predatory genius, lit up Katherine's eyes. It was a brilliant, audacious Trojan Horse strategy.

With one look, Arianna knew the bitch was up to something. "You dare come into my darling's chamber without being summoned? You’re here to steal something, aren’t you?" Valkyrie smirked, and Arianna’s brows furrowed. "What are you talking about?" Valkyrie took slow, menacing steps toward her, her heels clicking sharply against the marble floor. “What am I talking about?” she repeated mockingly. “Oh, don’t play innocent now, little rat. I saw you touching that painting. What did you think you’d find here—some hidden treasure? Or are you just trying to leave your scent on everything that belongs to my darling?”

“Another Vale. Someone we don’t know about.” Two Hours Later, Underground Archive, Safe House Selene worked fast, decrypting one file after another. The room glowed with green code and red alarms. “This is it,” she whispered. “Evelyn kept logs, scans, documents, AI-linked health reports.” Julian leaned in. “What are we looking at?” Selene tapped twice, and a medical record appeared. Subject: Valeria Vale Status: Female. Age: 21. Location: Classified. Project: CHIMERA.

The library had nothing except a floor to ceiling bookshelf and a red magic circle glowing in the middle of the library right before the bookshelf. There were thousands of books and a few of them... less than a hundred were glowing blood red on the upper shelves, but none glowed on the partially empty lower shelves. Diana stood right at the center of the magic circle, peering at the glowing red books. I trudged to her. “Diana…” I held her shoulder. Her eyes were stretched wide as she scrutinized the bookshelf, as if she was in some trance. I peered at the bookshelf for some time, standing beside Diana, then let out a sigh.

“Buckle up. You’re going to love this.” The flash drive contained internal files from a closed Hayes Media database—ones she “borrowed” from an old friend with a grudge and a dangerous level of access. Emails. Chats. Schedule logs. One thread stood out—between Victoria and someone labeled only as “Valkyrie.” Encrypted. Frequent. Strategic. “She’s working with someone,” I muttered. “Someone still inside.” We read faster. More messages. Phrases like ‘ensure Carter suspects her’ and ‘the final play drops soon.’

She asked and Valerie nodded innocently. "Can't I have it?" Diana took a deep breath. "Well, you can. But I want you to know that the room is closer to the Alpha's library." Valerie smiled. It seems the moon goddess is on her side. If she could stay in that room and meet the Alpha as soon as possible, she could go back to her Pack. Diana was surprised to see Valerie smile after hearing that the room was closer to the Alpha's library. Does she have an ill intention like the rest of the maids that came? Diana wonders. But she said her intention was pure.

" You do sound like a traitor, and after what happened to Donaerys, you've given me every reason to believe that you are" " Valkyrie, watch your tongue". " No, how else can we explain the fact that the werewolves attacked our key component in our fight against them, if not that there is a spy amongst us". " I have warned you enough", Valeria said, releasing his claws and standing on his feet. " What the hell do you think you can do?" Valkyrie said in anger, also standing to his feet and hitting his released claws on the poor table that never committed any crime other than keeping them apart.

No one answered him because they were all thinking the same thing. If the Belmars had reached the library first... Then the Codex might already be gone. * * * * * They searched methodically. Valkyrie inspected the walls, tapping lightly against the stone with the hilt of her sword. Rynese wandered through the shelves, muttering the strange book titles under his breath. "The First Blood Oath..." "Chronicles of the Eastern Clans..." "Origins of the Moon Throne..." "Who reads this stuff?" he whispered. "You would if your life depended on it," Valkyrie replied without looking up. "Fair point."

he explained gently, gesturing to Valen's bare skin. "Oh," I said. I looked down at the table, my throat tightening. "Did you find anything useful in the library?" Darian asked. "I'm getting there," I lied smoothly, keeping my voice confident. I didn't want to demoralize them right before Valen had to face the labyrinth. "There are a lot of old records to sort through, but I have a few more leads to check tonight."
