I bit her slowly and she yelped, a few tries to get out of my grip but her hands stopped struggling and she gripped my shoulders gasping loudly as I sucked her blood. This was the natural reaction from everyone when a Vampire bit them. No matter how hard you try and resist you eventually end up pushing them back. Claiming a beloved, regardless of the species, didn't turn them into a vampire UNLESS enough venom was released into the bloodstream for the turn to take effect.
