"And I'll be a wicked aunt to watch my only niece leave again without telling her how happy I was to see her. I regret sending you and your mother away all those years ago." "You said it wanted one of us dead. How do you explain me being alive?" Jasper asked. "It never wanted you dead," Sonya said and winked her right eye. "It was a test for both of you. When you two touched the moonstone, it knew you were keeping secrets from each other. The moonstone is a supernatural stone, it's precious and pure, just like the Moon goddess herself. She never wants harm to come to any of us. Most times the condition for retrieving a moonstone is just a test that one must pass. But we are many times too ne

I recounted every detail from the moment I met Troy to the second I stepped off the boat in Winter Forest, leaving a few spicier things that happened between Troy and me out, of course. I was sitting up in bed now, resting a sandwich Gretchen had brought up for me on the swell of my stomach. "And… the moonstone we found in the tomb, I used it to bring Troy back to life, like Gemma used her moonstone on you." "And the people of… Dianny? Is that what that pack is called?" "Dianny is their city, The Sisters of Artemis is their pack." "I see. I think I understand. They think… bringing the stones together is—"

Armed with the ancient wisdom of the werewolves and fueled by the love that bound her to Adam, she would navigate the intricacies of this new world, forever striving to make it a better place for all. The moon cast its silvery glow upon the sprawling landscape of Silverhood, bathing everything in an ethereal light. Emily stood atop a hill, her hair gently rustling in the cool night breeze. She took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of the forest and feeling the energy of the werewolf community pulsating through the air.

Valois staggered, mercury eyes widening as her blood ignited the frayed weave within him. I was there in an instant, shifting human mid-stride to drive my fist—clenched around a shard of moonstone from the altar—into his side. It pierced true, the stone's lunar essence searing his immortality like acid. He howled, a primordial keen that cracked the dome's glass, and lashed out, his shadow-blade grazing my ribs in a line of freezing agony.

“The blood you share is no longer just hybrid. It’s divine. Your transformation isn’t random—it’s in sync with the moon.” “The Blood Moon,” Darius added grimly from where he stood guard. “The moon of reckoning.” Ava looked up. Already the sky had begun to change. The moon, once a cold silver, had taken on a reddish hue. Faint, but visible. Like a drop of blood in water, spreading. ⸻ Day One: Ava’s hands pulsed with energy, everything she touched sparked or sizzled. Marcus barely managed to stabilize her. “Your magic is unraveling the laws of nature,” he warned.

She had seen the spark in her daughter’s gaze—the strange satisfaction, as though she already had plans within plans. Derrick turned to his warriors, voice booming. “Spread the word. Kimberly Moonstone is not to be killed. She is prey, but she belongs to me. Anyone who dares end her life will suffer worse than death.” His gaze hardened. “But Lucien—if you see him, you strike. Bring me his head, and I will grant you anything you desire.” The wolves howled, the sound filling the hall, but Mona remained quiet, her smile lingering. Because she wasn’t thinking of Lucien’s head.

“It’s been in my family for seven generations. Mom gave it to me to give to my mate.” I opened it and cried out. “It’s beautiful! Thank you.” I pulled the necklace from the box and examined it closely. The chain was gold. The gold pendant was a three-quarter moon studded with three moonstones. “I love it. Thank you, Victor,” I kissed his cheek. Moonstones are lucky for werewolves, and they amplify the magic that makes us what we are. Moonstones this old had to be powerful. “You’re welcome,” he said. “Let me put it on you, and you can tell me what scared you twice while I was kissing you.”

It had been crumpled from being squeezed, and when I picked it up her mother’s necklace was shimmering underneath. How had I missed seeing this last night? This necklace confirmed everything. She was the prophesied princess, Lycan heiress of the Moon Goddess, the bearer of the moon and night flame. And she was my betrothed fated mate. Here, on the table, was the drop of moonlight, gifted to the first wolves from the Goddess. I held it up in to the light and felt Sargon awaken. Did she really not know what this was? I grabbed the necklace and carried it back to the office. Rolf was still working on his plan for meeting up with the packs and connecting with his contacts, and he looked up and g

"Rivals rose up against your father, against you, but none of them came close to matching your power. The only thing powerful enough to kill you—the same thing that killed your father—was the moonstone. One piece dragged into your father's soul ended him. That moonstone was obtained from Eric's pack by Malachar, who died soon afterward after seeing the true power of the stone and realizing how he could have used it to become something far more powerful than just your father's killer. The Silverthorne pack was destroyed in the process of finding the moonstone, and no one knows how Malachar actually found it." Amelia finished, staring at me, but my eyes remained fixed on my aunt Raven. Her fac

“Daughter of Anya Greystone. Heir of Predator. White wolf of the moon.” The crowd lowers their heads. I stand, frozen. A memory flashes, Me, back in Moonstone, scraping blood off the floor being shoved down the steps. “Wolves like you belong beneath us,” Lyra sneering. And now? Now they call me heir. An omega from the moonstone pack? Subjected to abuse all her life, never knew her mother and had a monster father. Amber steps toward me, pulling something from beneath her cloak. A necklace. A pendant of carved moonstone, inlaid with a single white diamond in the center, the symbol of the moon’s chosen line.
