Vampire Diaries Moonstone Novels & Stories

I tell them everything that the moon goddess told me. "I also give her the bloodstone of Elizabeth Bathory. That stone is too dangerous for us to have. It can cause our deaths because the souls inside that are trapped there have turned to crystal. But once that stone is broken, the owner of that stone will die. The spirits will not be delighted with the one that has the bloodstone. They will think that it is Elizabeth. I was always willing to take that chance because I did not care if I lived or died. Not if I have a new life with a new family. I don't want to be responsible for that stone anymore. I know the Moon Goddess will give it to us if we need it. I do not believe that we should keep

At the base of the amphitheater stood the Moon-Stone. Unlike the raw shard in the archives, this was a massive, jagged obelisk of celestial crystal, nearly seven feet tall. It pulsed with a cold, pale light that felt entirely devoid of warmth. It was said the stone could sense the exact purity of Lycan blood; it would sing for royalty, but it would shatter the mind of an imposter by feeding their worst nightmares back into their skull.

she asked in no louder than a whisper. Liam exhaled slowly as his face went to stone. "The Moonstone," he said in a low voice. "An ancient artifact that can shift the balance of power between werewolves and. others. Your bloodline is joined within it, you're part of a legacy reaching back generations, to a time when wolves and humans were not at war.” Ariana's breath hitched in her throat. “The Moonstone.” The word reverberated in her mind, the one she had read in her mother's journal. Her mother had been trying to protect it, protect “her”But why?

It radiated a gentle, pulsating light that seemed to mirror the beating hearts of Luna and Amelia. Amelia approached the pedestal, her hands trembling with a mix of awe and trepidation. "Luna, this is it. The Sacred Moonstone." Luna's eyes widened as she took in the sight before her. The Moonstone was even more beautiful than she had imagined, glowing with a mystical energy. She could feel the power emanating from it, promising a deeper connection and protection for werewolves everywhere. As Luna reached out to touch the Moonstone, a sudden rumbling shook the chamber, causing dust to rain down from the ceiling. Startled, Luna and Amelia exchanged worried glances. The ground beneath their fee

Since Damien insisted, the Luna had no choice but to agree. Heidi took the moonstone. In my previous life, Heidi truly couldn't measure up. The moonstone barely glowed at all. What pure blood could a mongrel she-wolf possibly have? But what did it matter? No matter how badly she did, Damien took her as his mistress anyway. And now, looking at the dead-black moonstone in her hand, I had an idea. I quietly nicked my finger and flicked a single drop of blood onto her stone.

Xavier punched in what he thinks would be the password to the safe and he shut his eyes tightly hoping he wasn't wrong. Xavier gasped out when the safe opened up. Even though he saw her click the keypads secretly, he wasn't exactly sure it will work. His eyes glazed at the sight of the shiny Moon Stone sitting in all of its glory. Xavier inhaled deeply as he brought it out of the safe. It wasn't much of a big stone and can be pocketed into a trouser. The Moon Stone looks more like a diamond stone but isn't diamond. It is a rare stone carved by the Moon Goddess herself. It is her gift to the werewolf race. Xavier dipped it in the pocket of the short trouser he had on and he made his way out o

“What is the Moonstone? If it’s just a lie detector, your venom is still in my veins. We can trick it. We fooled Jaxon, we can fool—” “You don’t understand,” he interrupted, his voice dropping into a harsh, fractured whisper that vibrated with absolute dread. He leaned in so close his forehead almost touched mine, his golden eyes blown out, his pupils dilated with a terrifying mix of anger and guilt. “The Moonstone doesn’t just read your current intentions, Elena. It is an ancient relic forged from the primordial heart of the moon. It reads the true nature of your wolf’s soul. It traces your bloodline back to its very roots.”

I grab one of each and begin reading, writing everything I come across regarding both the Moonstone and the Bloodstone. A while later, my heart is racing at what I read. “Holy crap. Finnian,” I say, getting his attention from the book he’s reading. “What is it?” “So this book is the book. It’s talking about how the Moon goddess used this Bloodstone to create both species. She imbued a piece of her soul into the stone so she could create the species and that caused an eternal binding between all of us.” I look up at him, stunned at what I just read.

I didn't realize just how powerful the moonstone I'd ordered to be attached to her clothing would affect her overall strength. Moonstones were a powerful weapon forged to be used against a werewolf. It was one of the weapons used to weaken a werewolf and forged by the witches to aid the vampires back in the day. My father was able to recover some of them during his time as king while fighting the war, which were locked in the most secure place in my armoury. The effects of a moonstone on a werewolf were quite damning as it depleted our strength and made us weaker than humans - thereby susceptible to attack.

Vivian’s eyes widened, cautious but curious, as he leaned forward to take his, and Korina’s hand brushed mine before she closed her fingers around the amulet. “Moon Stone,” I explained quietly, trying to keep my voice steady, “they’re supposed to channel the Moon’s energy. I’ve imbued them with healing power, so your wolves will be stronger when you carry them. Maybe not immediately, but over time… it’ll settle into you.” I paused and looked from one to the other. “I wanted you both to have that strength. I know it not much, but as a healer…it’s all I could give you.” Vivian’s lips parted like he wanted to say something but couldn’t, and Korina was already staring at the stone with a mixture
