Vampire Diaries Wolfsbane Novels & Stories

All he did was scroll through old photos of me on his phone, one after another. Vivian couldn't stand it. Her temper grew worse by the day. Then, that afternoon, Alex returned to the motel after running errands. The moment he pushed the door open, a sharp, bitter smell hit him. Vivian sat slumped against the headboard. A dark, purplish liquid was dripping from the corner of her mouth. An empty glass vial lay overturned beside her hand. Wolfsbane. The deadliest poison to any werewolf. Even the strongest healing abilities couldn't resist it.

Not in a world where wolves can smell lies and fear. Right? Melody’s notes could be just that. Notes. Medical knowledge. She was always reading, always studying symptoms. Wolfsbane is a known toxin; of course she’d write about it. And the bitter drink… maybe it’s just herbs. Maybe it’s really for my “growing pains.” Maybe it’s to help my wolf wake up, not suppress it. I cling to those maybes like they’re oxygen. Because the alternative is too ugly to hold. Dad clears his throat. “Abby.”

“Try keeping one or two alive. We need answers.” “Easier said than done,” my brother snapped back while fighting. “These idiots are suicidal.” A rogue launched toward one of our warriors only to get thrown sideways into a tree hard enough to crack the trunk. Nyx growled low. “Something smells wrong.” I slowed slightly. “What do you mean?” “Wolfsbane.” My eyes narrowed instantly. “Damn it.” Wolfsbane weakened wolves dramatically if inhaled or injected. Slowed healing. Suppressed strength. Too much exposure could stop a wolf from shifting entirely. Which meant this attack had planning behind it.

"That little bastard just refuses to die. He's still in there after everything that has happened to you." Anna purposely spoke in a higher pitch, "Oh, my wounds have flared up again. If you refuse to give me your blood, I have no choice but to get it myself." She shook a crystal bottle in her hand, which contained an eerily purplish-black liquid. "This is the juice of Wolfsbane that took me a lot of effort to obtain. I heard it works great on werewolf babies. All you need is to take a sip, and that little monster will become a puddle of bloody water that your body will purge.

He again tried calling out to her, alas, she was gone. As Travis saw to her leaving, he collapsed to the floor the moment he saw from his perspective that she could no longer see him. "Huh! Huh! Huh!" He panted severely. He then opened the sash by his side and brought out a cannister, of the exact male that contained what Higgins earlier injected to weaken his wolf. "Blood bane! I'm running out of it." He said. "I need that Talisman." He added. Blood bane had the exact effect of wolf bane but this was to Vampires.

I look back, nervously. I put wolfsbane in the soup -- the one with the strongest flavor on the table. It can cover the smell of the wolfsbane. I pray Damon wouldn’t notice it. Wolfsbane is poisonous to werewolves, but only if with a strong dose. If powered and added to food with just a trace, it becomes the sleeping pill for us. That was why the chef gave me some without even a question when I told him the Alpha hadn’t been sleeping well.

It came from wolfsbane. Wolfsbane if admitted directly into the bloodstream could prevent werewolves from shifting when they were in prison caves. The effects of one shot of the injection could last for twenty four hours and the werewolf would use an entire day to shake off the side effects. It weakened the body and caused immense pain. It was also affecting Everett's bond with Cora. I'm fine. Don't come looking for me.

On the floor sprawled a lot of dead bodies and Axel and Jude were busy checking for any survivers. "Are there any?" Hunter asked walking over to meet them. Jude shook his head "No there aren't". "Do you have an idea of what could have caused this Alia" Axel asked. Alia took an empty glass that was on the bar table and perceived it and then her eyes widened "Every person here was each given some quantity of wolfsbane". Wolfsbane was one of the few things that could kill a werewolf, it was both fatal and dangerous for them just as garlic was for us vampires.

Lucas sat at his reading table, he held a flora design magazine and was going through the different flowers in it. The room was neatly arranged, Ruby had ensured that he grew up to be neat which was paying off, Ruby entered his room carrying a pot of wolfs bane, the praetor wolves sent to deliver a message to Reginald had some of it on them and gave it to her, Wolfs bane killed normal werewolves by touch but its scent was to help them tame and have self-control in cases like mortal combat and wars, she was so glad they could give her a pot of it, it would tame Lucas in case of any danger in the human world.

I hoisted Kyle onto my back and ran barefoot toward the healing center in the middle of pack territory. The elder on duty took one look at Kyle's deathly pale face and his expression changed. He pried open Kyle's eyelids, glanced inside, and immediately shouted, "It's Wolfsbane! Get the Alpha! Only Alpha blood can neutralize the poison!" Wolfsbane. A deadly poison to werewolves, especially pups. Even a trace amount could be fatal. I collapsed to the floor, clutching Kyle's ice-cold little hand. Julian arrived ten minutes later.
