I dropped to the ground, much to the vampire's confusion, and slashed at their legs. During this, Alexander got to them, finishing the job. His magic lit up his face, so I was able to witness him burying his fangs into the enemy's neck and ripping their throat out.

The vampire loosened the grip on his blue sleeveless vest, trying to force some air into his burning lungs. “It seems I drank too much blood,” he thought, desperately struggling with his strange condition. The heart had difficulty pumping fresh blood. Onyx irritably tugged at the collar with his fingers, as if he hoped he could rip it off. But the cold metal was adamant. The brunette heard a rustling sound. Turning sharply, he in an instant snatched a black blade from its sheath and slashed it across the throat of the young vampire who appeared in his field of vision. Something she could only imagine existed in books and movies. A pair of red eyes and two long fangs that stuck out of the mouth as though they were always meant to be there. Except there was no blood dripping from his mouth as always described in books. Yet, she was still scared senseless at the sight of a living, vampire right in front of her eyes. He moved closer to her again but this time, she was prepared and understood what he was. She lunged on her feet in fright and prepared to flee. But she had barely moved two steps when that figure appeared in front of her again.

The blade pierced right through the vampire's heart and she whirled around, catching another in an attempt to attack her from behind. She swung the sword and sliced right through the female vampire's side. A shrill shriek echoed and Harley moved right on to the next as Mason took over, decapitating the fang-bearing female and watching as the head rolled with a bounce before bursting into ashes along with the rest of the body. She fought back the nauseous feeling that had settled in upon seeing more vampires lose limbs and continued to use her sword as well as her crossbow to weaken each vampire. Though there was still no sign of the vampire she wanted dead the most.

With a serious face, Frey started talking about herself. There are two types of vampires.Pureblood and mixed-blood vampires.Pure-blooded vampires are the original descendants of ancestral vampires.While mixed vampires are obtained in various ways such as marriage between humans and vampires, or other ways.Frey is a pure-blooded vampire who has a body that looks the same as a human.Even so, she also has strength that exceeds ordinary humans.
