Bram murmured something I couldn’t quite catch to himself, but offered no suggestions. The witch’s equivalent to a lycan was a demon. Demons were the near immortals that spawned several paranormal species, similar to how lycans were responsible for all shifters. Similar to lycans, no one really knew their origin story, or who the first was. It was fun to compare and contrast the origin stories, though.

I looked up, and his eyes met mine. "There you are..." he smirked. "Your father was a demon, in love with a vampire. In a time when that love was forbidden," he said, and I sighed. Somehow, his presence soothed the fury and anger I had been feeling minutes ago. "Vampires only go feral when they get starved of blood..." Dominic explained, "Demons, on the other hand, get feral when they are subjected to intense pain..." He said, and I looked up.

Of course, demons have no worries; the return of the bloodsuckers wouldn’t affect them, but it might ruin the lives of my people. “What’s so funny?” I almost growl the question. Annoyance and irritation slowly cloud my judgement, and if this man weren’t the newfound father, I’d probably try to kick out his damn teeth. He’s testing my patience. “Lazarus, son,” he slaps his massive hand on my shoulder and shakes his head. “I never mentioned vampires, so you don’t have to freak out about them just yet. What I meant are the leeches we know in the underground, hell. The soul eaters, we call them leeches. They have a specific scent only demons can sense – it’s like sulphur or something close to it

Her voice was soft but firm, breaking the heavy silence that had settled over the room. “I doubt you’d find anything useful,” countered Demon as he rose from his seat where he was seated next to Hannah. “What we need to do is wage war against the werewolves. They’re the prime suspects here. Notice how none of them have been killed or gone missing since this all started?” Demon was an original Vampire, from the bloodline of the Dracula's — which was also the Master vampire bloodline. He was older than the Master Vampire with a century, making him the oldest in the room.

A demon that had the horns like an antelope questioned her. "I know what I saw Zyul. She's alive and some demons are already going after her" "Sure they will and I think it's time we make our move," Zyul said as others listened to the conversation between him and Venda. "But I noticed something," Venda said looking thoughtful.

I folded my hands across my chest and frowned at him in both confusion and annoyance. "Stop-just-" Alex huffed in frustration before covering his face with his hands and letting out a sigh in exasperation. I was about to say something else too but stopped when I heard a few girls groan and my eyes snapped towards the crowd. I noticed Joey, Franklin,danny and other vampires digging their fangs into the girls neck, sucking them hungrily and I could feel my eyes widening at the sight. They were doing it in public? Why? It was already getting dark, we were supposed to go home.

Before he can attack him again, the vampire holds the warewolf by it's neck and about to bite him but the warewolf dodges him away. The Vampire smirks at him with a cunning look. Soon he notices that the warewolf is now joined by another warewolf who is a shade of golden brown. The Vampire looks at her with utmost hatred and anger as he knew who it is. The Golden Vampire attacks him as well but the Vampire dodges it on to the black warewolf. Before the warewolves can get into their positions and attack him again, he disappears from there. Both Darcy and Xandier change back into their human form.
