Vanessa Brooks Blade Novels & Stories

Isabella groaned in pain as Vanessa stabbed the knife into her back. Vanessa pulled the knife out and tried to stab her again, but despite the pain, Isabella grabbed the blade. The sharp edge cut through her palm, drawing blood. Vanessa, determined to kill her, struggled to overpower her. All she wanted was to eliminate Isabella so no one would suspect her. "Who are you?" Isabella winced in pain, but Vanessa remained silent, knowing Isabella might recognize her voice.

I was so tempted to take a couple of shots at him now, but I wanted him to feel every ounce of what I shell out. I remembered what Mateo told me had been placed into Vanessa’s vagina, and gave that some thought. While I was doing that, I got out my silver knife set and began sharpening the blades. I can already tell my cuts will have to be perfectly precise because of how the cuffs have seared the skin and made it bubble up. It may cauterize even as it burns, which won’t be nearly as messy as it usually is, but it may extend his life span, which is fine by me because I promised he would pay for each and every scratch on Vanessa’s body.

No one present—not the three bewildered thugs, nor the whimpering leader, Blade—had clearly seen the move. Skylar Vance’s hand, small and delicate, looked utterly frail, yet it had crushed the muscle and bone of Blade’s thick forearm with casual ease. The sound of splintering bone was relentless, a horrifying, staccato crack-crack-crack that merged sickeningly with Blade’s uncontrollable, animalistic shrieks. Under the weak, sputtering light bulb, the scene was an absolute nightmare.

He subconsciously took a step back, and just then, a beautiful woman appeared in front of him. With her long and luscious black hair, striking features, and fair-as-snow skin, she was even more stunning than famous movie stars. This woman was Vanessa Harris. “What a beautiful woman.” Shocked by Vanessa’s beauty, the man ended up overlooking her ruthlessness. While he was still stunned, she kicked him in the stomach. Feeling his stomach cramp up, the man backed away. Before he could even find his footing, Vanessa had already caught up to him. Seizing the machete in his hand, she slashed him without hesitation. The man was instantly thrown back by the impact, and hot, crimson blood splattered

Despite lacking fighting training and claw abilities I existed as a mother. I did not attempt to stop Vanessa from stabbing me with the knife. I violently twisted my body to throw all my weight into her legs. The blade missed my chest and created a deep gash which extended down my shoulder. I screamed as the momentum sent Vanessa into a state of imbalance. She slipped in her high heels and fell hard onto the wooden floor, dropping the dagger. I didn't run. I rushed toward the side table to grab the heavy bronze vase. Vanessa reached for her dagger.

Marcus commanded, his gun trained on Blade. Blade reached for his gun, but he wasn't fast enough. One of my guards fired, hitting him in the shoulder. Blade screamed and crumpled to the ground, his weapon clattering across the concrete floor. "Fuck!" Vanessa gasped in panic, trying to escape through the back door I hadn't noticed, but another guard intercepted her. She fought like a wild animal, scratching and kicking, and in the struggle, she was slammed against the wall by one of my guards. I heard her cry out in pain as she clutched her side, but somehow she managed to slip through a narrow opening and disappear into the darkness beyond.

"Bitch! He is the only one I want! And you.. You have to get out of my way because you are the biggest obstacle in my life!" Vanessa was about to attack her when she quickly picked up the scissors on the side table and pointed them at Vanessa. And Vanessa was shocked and stopped attacking her. "Go ahead." She held the knife tightly while her hands were shaking. "Try to come and hurt me and Lucius' future child, I won't hesitate to ram it down your throat! So before I can do that to you, leave!"

No witnesses. Vesper went rigid. I felt her gaze snap toward me, sharp with shock and worry. I said nothing. My hand moved to the compartment between our seats and pulled out the tactical blade. The steel was matte black, the handle ridged with smooth, ergonomic grooves designed for a perfect grip. She blanched. The color drained from her face in the dim dashboard glow, her gaze snapping to the weapon. “What are you going to do? Why are you stopping?” I leaned over, my hand returning to her thighs. She pressed her legs together, her muscles tight with resistance, a pathetic, instinctive barricade.

They both stood looking down at the various blades she had picked out from his vast collection. Flossina spoke, “Any one of these blades would have come in handy when I was last at MeadowBrooke. Mother detested weapons. She thought they were barbaric.” She touched one. “Tell me more about these blades, please.” Flossina’s comment surprised and amused him. He was amused and slightly curious as to why she was showing an interest in his weapons. Her eyes seemed to light up and her demeanor relaxed. He knew she felt safe with him and that made him proud. He picked up the biggest weapon she had placed on the trunk. It was thin long and wide and shaped like the letter ‘C’.
