I didn't need this shit so early in the morning. "Mm... you seen the little Blossom yet?" Tyler laughed. Fuck sake. Blossom was a girl from the Blood Moon pack, her father was their former Alpha and her brother had taken over 4 years ago when he was 21. She was small, and sweet. Her hair was always tied up in a ribbon and she was always reading... or doing work. She never really spoke to anyone. I'd only ever seen her with two people. And I had to admit, I'd had a crush on her as soon as I'd laid eyes on her. But I always felt guilty in the back of my head.

June's smile dropped. Ian smirked, "Thou art buggy as hell." June scoffed at Ian's line. "I am not buggy!" He defended. June rolled the script in his hand and pointed at Ian like a sword, "Perparth thyself for agony, canker blossom," he said, in the same dramatic voice. Ian let out a low chuckle, as he too rolled his script and held it up like a sword, "Not to toot my own horn but me have to warn you, I am one of the best swordsman."

he instructed, his voice steady but firm. His team immediately complied, scanning the surgical site with careful precision. Every vessel had to be examined, every stitch secure. Even the slightest uncontrolled bleed could turn into a catastrophe. Marcus observed as his assistants moved efficiently, scanning for leaks, ensuring that no silent danger lurked beneath the surface. The seconds stretched, but soon, the verdict was in—no active bleeding. The bypass held perfectly. It was time to close.

When I started here, I also found it amazing. — Here we try to do everything right and avoid additional headaches for the lawyers. The secretarial functions are resolved here. Now, from the glass door onwards, it's up to each person to explore," Victoria commented, making a face that showed she knew more than she appeared to. "Catherine, you'll be working with Miguel, a truly lovely man when he gets intimate, but he's super reserved with those he doesn't need to have real contact with. Don't be surprised if he's a bit rough at first. His heart is good, but his shell is like a crab's.

I closed my eyes, eagerly expecting his lips to meet mine. But something happened instead, and my eyes fluttered open. Vanessa suddenly moved too fast. A blade flashed in her hand as she lunged straight toward Kael’s back. “IF I CAN’T HAVE THE THRONE…” I tried to move Kael behind me, but it was already too late. The blade was already inches away from Kael’s heart. And Kael? He didn’t see it coming.

she explained, twisting the handle so the blade caught the light again. "Put the knife down, Sienna, you do not want to go to prison for murder," I pleaded, holding my hands up to protect my chest. "I am not going to prison, Jaslyn, because the pack cleans up their own messes without involving human laws," she promised me, her tone chillingly calm compared to her earlier screaming. She took a final step toward me, raising the sharp silver blade until the deadly point hovered just inches from my stomach. Brooke and Morgan remained perfectly still by the locked door, offering no help as their friend prepared to cross a horrific line.

She reached out and traced my face, jealousy flashing in her eyes. "Mr. and Mrs. Blake, would it not be better to handle it cleanly? "Slash her face, then send her to prison. "Even if Adrian remembers her, once he sees this ugly face, he will only feel disgusted." Mrs. Blake was silent for a moment before slowly nodding. "Vanessa is thinking further ahead." I was tightly cuffed to the bed, my wrists and ankles locked in metal. I could not move at all. "No. Please..." Vanessa had already come forward with a small knife. She patted my face with the back of the blade.

In one swift motion, she threw the device away like it was nothing, watching it clatter to the ground uselessly. Then she drew a knife from her belt. The air crackled with tension. Vanessa didn’t even flinch as she slashed her own hand with the blade, blood spilling freely across her palm. Her silver eyes gleamed with malice as she gripped the weapon tighter, and the knife moved with a purpose. She wasn’t trying to kill anyone. She was trying to infect them. She lunged toward the nearest wolf, a young female still crouching behind the defensive line. Before anyone could react, Vanessa slashed the knife down, cutting into the wolf’s arm. The wound bled darkly, but it wasn’t the blood that mat

"Open it. Or I crush your windpipe and open it myself after the witnesses inside hear the Healing Wolf die and understand what cooperation means." His hand was cold. Strong. No bond to disrupt. No connection to sever. No vulnerability that the blue light could reach. Vanessa's blade hit him in the calf. She had dragged herself across the corridor floor while he was focused on me. Her small boot knife, driven upward into the muscle of his lower leg with the desperate, precise aim of a woman who had been trained in formal combat by an Alpha father who believed his daughters should know where to put a blade. Dorian's grip loosened. One fraction. One instant.
