I said, gesturing for him to sit. I was ready to get down to business, Jett had already wired this guy a damn $20,000 down payment and I was hardly running a charity. He produced a small item that looked like … a pack of gum? Duncan took it and went to his computer. “This guy Digger is a sick fuck. He’s wanted in several human cities for kidnapping and more if they can ever get ahold of him and prove anything. He’s been in a lot of bar fights too, he’s got several warrants for fighting and even beating a guy almost to death. He’s been arrested a dozen times but somehow he always escapes. Always a friendly shifter somewhere in the station is most likely. Or he bribed someone,” he said, and I

A few minutes later she connected him with Drake. "What's going on, Kemosabe?" "Hey bud, I've got a favor to ask," Duncan started. "What are you doing for lunch?" "No plans as of yet." "Sweet, wanna meet up at Double D's?" "Sounds good to me my brotha," he replied. "Alright, catch you later." Duncan sighed and dove into his work for the day.

Noah was right, love is definitely changing me into a man even I don't recognize anymore. As I watched Trina and Mason walk into the house and eventually settle onto the same sofa, diving into what looked like an emotional conversation, my phone suddenly vibrated. It was a message from Don and it read; ‘Sir, Duncan Ryder just met with someone who seems to be his lawyer.’ I frowned and instantly typed a response. ‘And?’ His response was immediate and it read. ‘They met in secret. In an inconspicuous place. And Duncan Ryder was still in disguise.’

“I am here to talk to you about your affair with Julian Holland.” I frowned instantly, “What affair? Are you a reporter?” “I have said it before. I am Duncan Mann, the CEO of Duck Entertainment. I am too good to be a reporter,” he replied confidently. “There are issues I wish to speak to you about. Trust me, you don't want to turn me away. Can I come in now?” I was curious to know what he had to say but at the same time, I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of having two male strangers inside with me.

he yells from somewhere behind me. “Yes, Seymore, you have better things to do with your afternoon. I’m sure Dr. Desmond Davies would be open for an emergency consultation if you hurry,” Duncan retorts, snapping his fingers to summon the boys back to his side. “Maybe he knows someone who specializes in loss therapy and not sex addiction, like him.”

She said with a soft tone. “Yeah, I'm the only brave one, I guess. But don't get me wrong, I'm not here for him but you. I wanted to meet the lady whom the moon goddess gave to that tough Alpha.” Duncan chuckled as he spoke. Serena smiled once more before inquiring, “And where exactly do you base at?” “Canada. I run a business there.” He supplied. Serena shook her head and asked, “how many siblings do you say you have again?”

"Please! That young man had your mark all over him—I could smell it from miles away. Why else would I spare his life? "Sure, it's genius of him to be able to consolidate the Way of Mind. But is that really enough to catch your eye so early and to actually mark him yourself?" Duncan avoided the question. "Some things can't be explained. With disaster coming, you think hiding in Azurath will save you?" Viggo sipped his wine before answering casually, "We'll cross that bridge later. You've got all your duties to worry about. I'm just one guy on my own anyway."

Duncan's gaze landed on the two strangers seating in front of his Dad. “Meet Mr Rogers Jacobs, owner of Rogers Liquor and his beautiful daughter, Lora Jacobs.” The lady pushed her chair out and made her way towards him. “Really nice to meet you, Duncan. I've heard a lot about you.” she stretched her hand towards him. He really didn't want to take her hand, but he was curious to know what was happening and also trying not to cause a scene. “Nice to meet you, Miss Jacobs.” He shook her head and let go in less that 5 seconds.

This man was so crazy I imagined. It turns out his name was Duncan. When I got to know about him, Duncan was one of the worst beings I had met on planet earth. He was rude, loud and violet and drunken. Apart from the money, there was nothing good about him. He was very disrespectful, unspeakable and unpredictable. Infact I never understood what he really wanted from me. Ofcourse I discover all this after several weeks of getting to know him better. Can you imagine when we finally dated, Duncan commanded me to get out of his car in the middle of a high way just because I said something that pissed him off. You see readers, you cannot imagine how I got home in the middle of nowhere without

It wasn't at a regional area. It was parked at a public playground in Norwood Green. For the last four days, Duncan’s schedule had completely fractured. He wasn't reviewing pack training logs. He wasn't attending board meetings. He was spending every single free hour lurking in the shadows of that pathetic, small-town border pack, watching Amora and those two bastard children.
