In the middle of the night, when only darkness lurks around everywhere, when the evil comes out to hunt and prey on predators, a woman sneaked out of the castle to dodge every guard, she with amazing skills climbed trees and flung from one trunk to another. She was desperate to reach somewhere or rather meet someone. She knew she was failing badly in her given task. The woman was no one other than Veronica. Veronica had snuck out in the middle of the night to go and meet Boston for further planning of breaking the bond between Queen Kelly and Alpha Sebastian.

Writers POV/// Veronica rushed down home , smiling the whole way like a child. As she walked near her apartment door she sees a package on the floor. She looked him in the eye, doing her best to keep a straight face. “I was walking home last night, and I lost it somewhere. Maybe they found it.” He studied her. Finally, he said, “Maybe.” They stood there, in silence. “The weirdest thing of all,” he continued, “is that, before I went completely unconscious, I could have sworn I saw you there, standing over me, yelling at those guys to leave me alone….Isn’t that crazy?”

Veronica After only one glass of champagne, Noah switched to beer. He said he wasn't much of a champagne drinker and only ever had a glass or two when he was in a celebratory mood. Veronica's insides had warmed when he said that today he was celebrating his new friendship. Given the little speech he'd just made about how he felt about his friends, it was even more heartwarming that he now considered her a friend. That of course only made her reasoning even more pertinent about why she shouldn't get caught up in anything like what happened that morning.

Veronica’s eyes opened slowly. The room was dark, lit only by faint moonlight slipping through the window. For a moment, she didn’t move. Then she heard it again. Movement. She turned her head slightly. Christiana’s bed was empty. Veronica’s heart skipped. Slowly, she lifted herself just enough to look around. The door to the dormitory was slightly open. A shadow slipped through it. Christiana. Veronica’s breath became shallow. She’s going again… Without thinking too much, Veronica quietly got out of bed.
