Veronica Hamel Blue Bloods Novels & Stories

Hitting the ground really hard, I felt a warm substance flowing from my head, and before I could even look to find out what it was, madam Mortica had yelled out from behind me. “Ahh, blood!” I touched the part where it was coming out from and remained silent as I looked at my blood-stained hand. Looking towards the stairs, I saw Veronica with a wicked smile on her face. She waved at me upon noticing that I had turned to face her, but there was obviously nothing I could do because I was slowly starting to feel extremely weak.

“Please welcome my fated mate, chosen for me by the moon goddess herself, and the future Luna of the Grey Moon pack,” Everyone held their breaths, I included. “…… Veronica Hall!” Liam declared. Everyone in the party burst into cheers and applause, except me. My mind went blank. Did I hear that right? Veronica Hall? Not me? Not Aria? I stood frozen and the tray of drinks shook in my hands. I watched in shock and disbelief as Veronica, the beta's daughter, a tall and beautiful she-wolf with long, black hair, stepped forward confidently as though she was expecting it.

gasped the arriving guests and the young women who filled the room. "Isn't she Beta Blake's daughter? She is so beautiful. Do you think she will become the next Luna of the White Hills Pack? She will make a perfect Luna," the gentle murmuring of the guests echoed in the ballroom, and Veronica smiled as she wore a tiny purple mask around her face. It was easy to recognize her as she let down her blonde hair to fall behind her back like she was a princess. She walked majestically in her striking purple shoes, drawing the eyes of the guests. Until my mother and Alpha David arrived, then the guests gasped in awe.

Sayler clung to my leg, burying his face in my dress, whimpering. "Don't look, baby," I whispered, but I couldn't look away. The smoke began to clear, drifting away on the wind as if commanded by an invisible hand. The woman stood at the foot of the main steps, surrounded by the six elite guards in their black armor. The spotlight from the roof caught her face, illuminating the cruel, beautiful smile that played on her lips. Veronica. She looked up. She looked straight up at the roof, directly at me, as if I were the only person in the world. Her eyes weren't their normal blue; they glowed with a faint, unnatural purple light—the sign of Morana’s magic coursing through her.

His breathing evens out quickly, and I follow soon after. I’m back at my exhibition, but the gallery is empty except for me and Veronica. She’s wearing that red gown, the one that caught the light so beautifully when she played the piano. Except now, as she moves toward me, I notice something is… wrong. The hem of her dress is wet, dripping, with… Blood.

He was staring at me before he barked out loud. “You? You as the real heir? Oh, I don’t think this day would get better and better but you are delusional, human. Don’t you know who are you protecting right now? She’s Blue Blood and if you don’t know what it was, let me educate you. It’s the closest thing to a Vampire. So tell me, Timmy, don’t you afraid of Vampire?” He asked as I was looking at him before I turned to look at Sabel. She smiled.

he told the witch. The witch laughed at him again, but she also appeared to him a few steps away from him at a slow pace. She was wearing a black blouse and her long black hair was floating in the wind. “I am killing two birds with one stone today,” said Veronica with a sly smile on her lips. He ignored what she said as he glared at her. “Where is he now? Take him out,” he said firmly. “He’s here.” She opened her palm to where the red vials appeared, containing Yric’s entire being. “I will use him thoroughly, as well as his blood.”

That was enough. “You’re done here,” I said, my voice like ice. “Stay away from her. Stay away from me. And if I find out you had anything to do with that DNA switch—or this—” I gestured toward the bed, “I will burn everything down around you.” Veronica’s mask slipped just enough. A flicker of something cold and calculating flashed behind her eyes. Then she smiled again, sickly sweet. “Well,” she said as she adjusted her bag, “try not to upset yourself, dear. High blood pressure runs in your family.”

HANNAH I knew it was a test the second Alvarez said, “Ms. Veronica would like to see you in the blue parlor.” Veronica never “liked” to see anyone. She summoned. And she never used the blue parlor unless she wanted the room to help her.

They arrived hand-in-hand at a charity luncheon for industry insiders, an event Veronica had been conveniently invited to. Celeste wore red. Power red. Blood red. The color of war. Her dress clung to her like it was painted on, the neckline just daring enough to start rumors, the back open enough to invite stares. Her chin was lifted high as she stepped into the main hall, Damien at her side, sharp in a black-on-black tailored suit that screamed lethal elegance. The buzz of whispers hit instantly. Flashes. Phones. Every eye tracking their steps. And then, there she was, Veronica Hale. Flawless. Serpentine. Standing near the bar, sipping champagne like she'd already won.
