He tried his luck, and it turned everything awkward in a second. Aries knitted his eyebrows. He couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but he noted the change in Veronica’s demeanor, and then she walked out on him. He changed the camera and watched her march up the stairs towards her room. Veronica walks into the room and Aries changes the camera. He watched her remove her sandals, then her watch, and stride to the dresser. Aries glanced at his watch and then lit the candles on Veronica’s favorite raspberry cake. The other trainers came out and so did Alpha Carl, Alpha Carl yells out "VERONICA ENOUGH!" Veronica stops, moving off the Gamma and standing in front of me, I went to say something to her and she turns looking at me her eyes wild with betrayal, I shook my head and she spoke in a breathy whisper, "don't, don't you dare say a word to me right now."

She asked, of course, the mummy bear. “I’m fine, Sasha, why are you getting so worried? You ought to take care of our soon-to-be Alpha,” I said, switching the conversation to be about her. I wouldn't want her to get worried sick about me when she's in this condition. “Who says the child is going to be a male? I have an inkling this is a female,” she interjected with a frown on her lips. Darren kissed her cheeks and then moved to the nape of her neck, I closed my eyes, tired of watching their PDA.

I cannot be rid of him, I can only be cordial around him." Saying so, she looked in his direction. He was now talking to some of the mayor's friends. Just then, he turned his head and their eyes met. Sharply, she withdrew her gaze.
