Versatile Mage Episode 1 Novels & Stories

I glare up at him, daring to challenge his hungry eyes even if it's one against five. "You won't touch anything." I hold his gaze, irritated that I have to crane my neck to see his face. Being short is a damn curse. He chuckles and nods at his friends, who appear behind him with scary-looking smiles aimed at me. "That's where you are wrong, kitten," The guy with the shades says, smiling wickedly. His lips are cruel. "We are five against one, and last time I checked, you aren't good at using your magic against werewolves—I saw alpha Blake repel your magic. Now, we aren't as strong as an alpha, but we are still five people."

Well, I guess in a real battle, the enemy would never wait for the time to start, they would attack whenever they can. “The time limit is thirty minutes. Killing is prohibited…”, thirty minutes? Isn’t that too short? “Timer starts… NOW!” as I expected, the magic that the other mages prepared even before the time starts started to explode, everyone was avoiding it. A few seconds after, the ground started to turn into lava. I tried finding Aiden, he’s the only fire mage in here, this is surely his spell. I couldn’t find him but I saw a few mages who got stuck in the lava. They probably can’t fly, if I remember correctly one of them is a sound mage.

So he started searching its bag for any anti-spells portions while the Centaur’s arrows were randomly flying towards their direction without hitting anyone in one in particular. Dike finally found the portion that can be used to destroy enchantment on the Centaur. This portion is made of some special leaves that destroy divinations and enchantments. The oracle gave them in case if a spell was cast on any of them by any witch or mysterious creature during their journey. So the first time they are to use the anti-Spell was on a Centaur though they still have a long journey to go. Some of the warriors argued that it would be a waste of their portion to use it on the Centaur when they could just

Then there was Eric; the one with the most diverse sets of Magic-based Skills among all of them. Even though he had the C-Tier Class of Mage, his Skills ranged from A-Tier abilities like [Grand Sound Magic], to B-Tiers like [Greater Corrosion], [Greater Explosion], and even a couple of C-Tier stuff like [Blindness] and [False Pain]. He was a true Mage—a jack of all trades, though master of none. If he had a better Class, there was a chance he could give Belle a run for her money. It seemed like all Alpha Class members—except for the two kidnapped ones—were present.

“Did you use magic... to... to alter my appearance?!” “You are still a mage, despite being a weak one in the meantime. So now, I ask you instead, can you feel magic in it?” he asks. There is none. No traces of magic around me, other than what I just conjured up earlier, and yet, here I am! Not just a weak mage, but a hideous one! “How?” I whisper out loud. “How can this happen?! Was this your plan all along? To humiliate me? To make fun of me?! Do you enjoy laughing at me?! Especially now that I’ve been reduced to this state?!”

Agnes Pov The magic spell I had casted was too overwhelming as I was weak already, all they guards presently were under my spelI apart from one, the king guards who had golden breasted plates, he lunged forward with deadly speed as I turned around I saw him just centimeters away from me. With resounding defiance I looked towards him with domineering look "de via mea!!!” I casted a casted which created a violent wave of telekinesis, ripping and tearing apart everything towards his part, but surprisingly to me, he just stood there unaffected by my magic, doubtfull thoughts became to fillfill my mind, why is he so strong and unmoved by my spells? What kind of beast is he? In that moment I hesit

It even felt like she never got shot in the first place. All this time, Mariana was with a mage, and she wasn't even aware. She knew Ignis was strong, too since healing spells are hard to pull off based on what she'd read from her books. He must be a water mage, too — she knew no such earth or wind healing spell existed, but a water spell that could heal wounds; she hadn't heard of that. Mariana knew only that water mages could heal only poison and sickness. This only meant that Ignis was a genius, since not just anyone could create an original spell. This rocked Mariana to the core.

As they ventured deeper into this enigmatic realm, the heroes began to notice a transformation in their skills and powers: Valen: The mage, now more in tune with his determination, discovered that his magical abilities had expanded. He could cast spells with greater precision and control. His arcane energy flowed like a wellspring, allowing him to tap into the depths of his potential.

The air hums with tension, every fiber of my being tuned to the magic coursing through the earth. The mages struggle to regroup, their attempts to cast spells fizzling out faster than they can blink. “This isn’t possible!” one of them cries, their voice shrill. “You underestimated us,” Soren growls, slamming a mage into the ground. A surge of energy ripples through the ley line, jolting me. My concentration wavers, and the edges of the trap flicker. “Cerelia!” Percy shouts, fending off a desperate mage.

Unlike dragons, wolves were not immune to magic. Just then, the Mage stumbled as she reached the golden stool of the master of the temple, coughing up blood. Taking advantage of the witches' distraction, Y took his precious hostage and ran with the rest of his army, since they couldn't fight with their wolves unable to transform. The betrayal Waai had seen coming, just not so soon. He was expecting to end the Mage after she had taken care of Dom and his dragon, but she took the step too early.
