“You can’t do this! He’s mine! I’ll kill you!” Spots float in front of my eyes as my vision wavers. As quickly as the pain begins, it also ends. Falling forward, I hold myself up by one arm and gasp for breaths. I blink my lids to clear my vision until I see flames engulfing parts of the hall. Looking up, I rub my chest and face the man before me. “What did you do to me?” I ask as unfamiliar emotions threaten to overwhelm me. Lucifer tilts his head sideways and mutters. “I gave you a piece of my soul and released you from Lilith’s tether.”

For a moment, his hazel eyes shone eerily in the darkness. “N-no.” “Actually, we want to return this to you.” One of them returned two of Lucifer’s gold coins. “You have worked hard. It would be outrageous to split the prize in half,” the man added. “Stop following me,” said Lucifer, not taking back the coins. He continued walking while the three of them just stared at him silently. Snow was still falling slowly. At this moment, Lucifer was looking up at the snowflakes falling on him. He closed his eyes, absorbing the cold sensation of the snow as it brushed against his bruised face. He was using nature to compress his wound.

He's still swearing and I can see how he's sweating excessively. "L-Lucifer are you alright?" I worriedly asked him but he didn't respond. He began sucking his thumb like a kid while mumbling, "I-I don't want.... t-to d-die... I don't want to die....." He's sweating a lot and he's trembling too. Does he have claustrophobia? I think Lucy had already mentioned that to me before. I never thought that he would act like this. He's so far from the Lucifer I used to be with, he's too scared...

I stated. Lorry facepalmed herself and that when I looked behind me and I nearly jumped out of my skin. It was the guy that was talking to Ms. M, and I didn't know how to react. Was he lucifer? Because if so, then I am screwed and if he isn't then I don't know because my heart is beating a hundred miles per hour. I looked at Sweety, and she gave me the looked that confirmed my suspicion. "Sorry, sir." I gave a kind smile at said, don't fire me.

After a few moments of staring her in the eyes, he let her go and a smirk appeared on his face. "I must say Adriel, you have quite the endurance". He said as he bent over to meet her gaze. Then just like that, he frowned again. "What are you doing here?" He asked. Adriel tried to talk but she only wheezed and she stared at Lucifer with pleading eyes. He however narrowed his eyes at her before awkwardly petting her back. Adriel grabbed him and laid her head on his laps. Lucifer stiffened and everything in his body was asking him to push her head to the wall. But he stayed there and kept patting her head and back. He didn't even know if she was crying, he didn't really care. He was glad Adriel

I whispered, a cold smile spreading across my face. My laughter echoed through the shadows, a menacing promise. "Not yet," I cautioned myself. "Patience. The perfect moment will come. And when it does, Lucifer will fall." With calculated precision, I began to weave my next move, setting the stage for a deadly confrontation. Working with Zoe had been a temporary convenience, but our alliance was built on shifting sands. We shared a common goal – taking down Lucifer – but our motivations diverged. Zoe sought power, whereas I craved vengeance.

Lucian was even more of an enigma than his brother Lucifer. "I have a condition that restricts me from exposure to the sun," He replied "Wow, you sure have a lot of conditions that coincidentally describe a vampire," She chuckled while Lucifer broke out laughing. He was loving her more by the second. "I will do something" Lucifer promised and approached the unconscious creature. "Command your wards to detect my magic as well," Lucifer asked Darius. Darius nodded his head and did as Lucifer asked. Lucifer closed his eyes and pointed his index finger on the forehead of the creature. A small light appeared on the tip of his finger with which he touched the being's forehead. Suddenly the creature jolted awake as if electrocuted.
