Deep down, Shanaya knew that her weakness was the source of their contempt, but she refused to acknowledge it. Her false friends poisoned her mind, whispering lies about Naina being the architect of her misery. Shanaya knew it was a deception, but her anger blinded her to the truth. She ran out of reasons to be good. Everyone labeled her a villainess, and Shanaya gradually embraced this identity.
