Black clouds covered the moon and stars, imprison them in the dark. Tears dripped from Violet's closed eyes. She was lying on the bed with Darius beside her who was sleeping. Every night he f*cked her. He made her feel like she was living in hell and there was no way to escape.

Violet accepted her fate as her body went limp. But as she slowly closed her eyes, something happened. The water around her shimmered, and she saw something. A full moon, bright and beautiful, hanging in the night sky. It was so big. A howl echoed in her ears, filling her with a strange sense of calm. It was as if the moon was calling to her, asking her to hang on. But soon it slipped away, just like the air in her lungs. The howl fades into silence, and Violet could feel her heartbeat leaving too.

She said and came to me, offering me a bottle of water from the corner of my room. "Thank you," I said and took the cup from her, emptying the contents of the bottle before drawing in a bout of fresh air. "You are welcome. We are more alike than you think. I think you will come to like me very much" she said and looked around the room cautiously. Suddenly the room darkened and black smoke emanated from behind her. That could only mean one thing. Vannila was a black witch using the disguise spell. She had masked her true nature and somehow, that was how she was able to get everyone to like her.

Violet Varius stared at me, not a word leaving his lips. But I could see the disappointment in his eyes. A strange feeling of guilt came over me. For years, these people had been waiting for a Violet. Someone they believed would save them and make them strong again.
