Contracted to the Mafia: A Plus-Size Bride
This was my first time.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror.
My husband's white shirt. My black pencil skirt. My husband's gray tie. I let my hair down, slightly wavy at the ends. My face was bare, but I put on a little red lipstick so I wouldn't look pale.
Then I took my glasses from the bedside table.
I wasn't blind, but my vision had been bothering me for the past few months. The doctor said it was a side effect of my heart condition. Blood flow to my eyes wasn't smooth, so sometimes my vision was a little blurry, especially when reading or looking at distant objects.
