She was the only occupant in it. Just as I had done all day, I ignored her. Blinking, I started seeing black spots in my vision. Strange, I had eaten and today wasn't that stressful. I shook my head and looked up, just in time to catch Lily's gaze through the reducing gap of the closing elevator doors. My vision blurred and I held the wall for support, my head suddenly ached with a nasty intensity. Something was wrong. I tried to glare at Lily but my vision swam.

**POV: Eleanor** "How are you feeling today?" the doctor asked again, noting the information on his clipboard. "Well... my vision is improving, but I still see blurry from a distance," I replied timidly, shrinking a bit. "I'll have glasses made for you; they'll help stabilize your vision," the Alpha intervened, carefully analyzing the doctor's consultation.

I stayed the whole time and at some point I pulled out a cigarette and lit it up. Cigarettes had become my crutch over the years.
