The world around me seems to blur as the pain intensifies. Clutching my head, I blink and shake my head to clear my vision but dark spots begin to dance across my vision. The last thing which flashes before my eyes is a blurred image of someone before everything turns dark.

His eyes narrowed, but he didn’t break eye contact. “The doctor is on his way,” Bella said as she entered the room again. My eyes darted to her, but her image became blurry as black dots appeared in my line of vision. Darkness crept in at the edges of my vision until I was swallowed by it once again.

But why? My blurred vision persisted, denying me the ability to see anything beyond mere shapes and shadows. Every movement seemed like a herculean effort, yet I couldn't allow myself to surrender. I needed to find answers to understand what had led me to this bewildering nightmare. As I lay there, imprisoned by the restraints and the unknown, I looked around, trying to make my blurry vision steady. It seemed impossible to see clearly, and the more I tried, the more my head and eyes ached.

I close and open my eyes a few times, trying to force myself to stay awake and focus on the fight.
